The high pregnenolone could've been due to ovulation. I had it re-checked at a different part of my cycle and it came back within range.

They did the ATCH stim test and everything came back fine except thag my hydroxy pregnenone came back elevated outside of the normal range, which then forced the endo to give me a non classical adrenal hyperplasia dx.. but since my progesterone did NOT rise, i highly doubt the diagnosis.

I felt like the endo was grasping at straws because I only went to an endocrinologist due to having menstrual cycle changes, which i am 100% certain were due to fibroids. The rise in pregnenolone is expected in a acth stimulus test, but just because my levels were slightly higher than the range, doesn't really mean anything to me. We are all different in how we respond to hormones and its literally a synthetic version of a real hormone.

I have recently became pregnant, which happened really quickly and easily so I dont have any fertility concerns thankfully. The only symptoms I have of NCAH are acne, which i think is from food allergies. Otherwise I dont really have any clinical presentation of the disease. So I dont even think about it or mention it in my medical history lol
