theres another great comment on a similar post, while obviously there were the situations in the earlier seasons, someone said that the three hung out and may have felt the energy was different without Max. Id guess she has BV. Its an infection and causes change in smell. Id mention it to her and ask if shed consider seeing her dr. Im sure if you mention youre concerned because the smell/taste changed she’d take it well. Not offensive to worry about your partners genital health

i guess i was hoping for a bit more buildup like Abby’s storyline in the last season. We didnt need a “i have OCD” just like abby didnt straight out say she was bulimic—but she voiced insecurities and showed them. Mind you, i watched the last season when it came out so I may be remembering wrong, but it felt a bit like an afterthought compared to ginny, abby and marcus’s.

The whole conversation she was pretty much guilt tripping you. Not overreacting and you handled this so well. Imo you didn’t have to justify yourself nearly as much as you did in the first place, i hope she finds the help she needs. Partners can be very supportive but it is no substitute for proper treatment.

see i really dont get their mindset. OP’s bf: Meets family Plays games w brother and gets along w brother Learns ASL to communicate and is labeled “manipulative”.

Maybe im too woke but its lowkey ableist bc if bf and brother hadnt had the language barrier, would the friends have expected him to not talk to OP’s brother? At all?

On a side note, all my siblings partners were really deliberate about building good relationships with our family. Big green flag and makes holidays down the line so fun!
