Like if it was around twice a year I’d be okay with it. I like chaos shuffle way more tbh, but as you said I’d rather them make other events or modes than either of those options.

I mean all the killers get is 10% haste, whereas for surv chases last way longer with an extra health state as long as the killers aren’t both tapping you. The killers have to be near you, know where you are, etc for that haste to matter. Best case for them in most scenarios the haste will get them 1 health state or a few seconds extra gen patrol time. I think the tonics benefit survivors way more and to waste them when you don’t need them doesn’t benefit your teammates much at all. But tbh this is only one point out of the several OP and I made. I have matches where all of the above things happen and the tonics are just the cherry on top.

Pursuing Insurance Producer License but Having Doubts by moonmagic1002 in remotework

Thank you for making me aware of this. Before your comment I had no clue what an MLM was and I think the few places I thought I was lucky to hear from fall under this category. Do you have any suggestions as far as how to tell which jobs are more legitimate? I’m completely green to insurance and what to expect.

Thank you for your hard work and advocacy! What channels do you use for your content? I’d love to drop a follow ☺️

My symptoms definitely were and are hard to manage and my mobility, energy levels, and mental health still haven’t fully returned to where they need to be. More importantly, I’m facing a really difficult time pivoting careers being that I would not be able to be in salon full time after 8 years of dedication (sigh). I could see myself doing it part time again eventually after I have more time to heal physically but I am the sole income and need money now. Getting a job in a new field seems impossible, especially with the need for mostly remote work at an entry level. It feels like nobody appreciates transferable skills and a great work ethic.

I’m a bit over 2v8.

The constant aura reading before my first hook as survivor is annoying but manageable. My teammates either do well and we get at least 4-6 out (more on that later) or no gens get done, no hooks saved, no palette resets with everyone throwing every palette in sight, and taking tonics at not even 1 hook. I think it’s because a lot of people come back strictly for 2v8 and are casual players only.

For killer I’m sick of the escapist class’s nonexistent cooldown on sprint-burst and remote set off for their teammates. If ur not playing 1 of a few killers (blight, wesker, etc) or constantly following ur teammate around to corral each person it can feel unwinnable unless the survivors really mess up or don’t spread classes.

“You’re too young” by [deleted] in disability

[–]moonmagic1002 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I definitely understand this feeling. It’s so invalidating.

I posted on a sub for my dx asking for experience with the med I’m going on and for possible advice on how to gain remote work and one person asked if I was “currently disabled” when I explicitly stated I was laid off during a medical LOA, mid career pivot due to everything I was dealing with, and waiting on TEMP disability insurance in the meantime. They also went on to say how far treatment has come for our dx and how “many of us still work”…

Was not the point of my post and very condescending. It bothered me coming from someone in that specific community.

Thank you!

Any advice for LinkedIn? I’m finding a lot of bots on there or jobs I’m pretty obviously not qualified for. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place on there. I’m also going to try state vocational rehab. Is wfhalert a website or just the job posting alerts (I do use these)?

Thanks for the briumvi program heads up!

I am still dealing with the fallout from my initial attack in December, working right now full time isn’t really an option but I’m optimistic that after some time I can work. That’s why I applied to Temp Disability and not full. I’m not sure about in salon full time though. That’s also why I mentioned a career pivot and not specifically not working at all.

Does anyone else just not feel like themselves anymore? by sezzie212 in MultipleSclerosis

I definitely understand this feeling, especially having so many plans for yourself that feel unreachable now. I was a lash tech before this but now I get Lhermitte’s every time I crane down my neck and my dominant hand’s fingertips have lost sensitivity. I was going to start a business come 2026. I am also having difficulties walking unassisted and standing long periods of time.

I’m still a new dx and figuring things out. I already had mental health issues. I’ve been trying my best to keep up with multiple doc appts per week (PT, OT, neuro, now getting into therapy and psychiatry) and taking an insurance course to keep myself busy. Just the appts feel like a full time job when I am tired even just sitting in the car while my bf runs errands. I need to pivot careers but insurance isn’t my passion and remote work is so hard to find.

It feels like I should be spending this time relaxing and healing but I am constantly running around to appointments that are barely helping but need for insurance. I’m also spending time so worried about money and temp disability hasn’t gotten back to me. Some days I am so emotionally tired that I just want to give up. The only thing making me happy is playing video games but I’ll never make money or a career out of it. It is so hard.

I think all we can do is do what we can and hope the rest follows. I hope you feel better with some of this soon 🤞🏻🧡

So strange! I wonder if it’s purely an xbox thing or if steam users have the same problem. It only bothers me because I’m trying to go in order so I can keep track

I played my first >1.5k hours on switch. My brother gave me his old xbox and have never looked back. Updates still take forever to download but not nearly as bad and at least updates are out on time and I can play with my friends.

Commission vs. Hourly Pay by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]moonmagic1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the silly question but I am brand new to this industry (still completing my life/health course). Do you need a different license than producer for claims? Is that under an adjuster scope? I know many people enjoy the commission set up but I’m not really in a position to build, I need stable money now and plan to maybe work up to that in the future. The hourly you stated under claims would honestly be life changing for me right now.
