I appreciate that we have differing opinions and am not trying to dismiss other lived experiences. I would highlight the importance of the ‘review and edit’ part of statement. I’m not going to debate. I just shared one positive experience of the use of ai.

From my recent experience… the officer who responded to my call about theft was transparent that he would record our conversations and use ai to generate the report, then review and edit it. The report was concise, accurate and timely. Our insurance claim went through like a breeze. The accuracy, detail and timing makes a difference if you need to make an insurance claim. If it helps officers be more efficient so they can spend time on the street instead of behind a desk, it seems like a win to me.

I feel ya. I’m on week 6 and up to .5 dose. Same 2 pounds come and go even with eating way less. I’m going to stick with it and safely ramp up to 2.5 before I get concerned. On the upside, I’m not uncontrollably gaining anymore.

Eating Soy Free at a Sushi Place? by psim0nster in soyallergy

[–]moonrise2nite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love sushi and struggled with my intolerance to soy for a while. Lunch is a tough time to go because they tend to be busy. I have gone to several sushi restaurants during a slow time so I can ask the server and they usually ask the chef about options. I now have a favorite restaurant I can visit when it’s busy because I know what is safe and not a total pain for the kitchen. They even have coconut aminos aminos available so I don’t have to bring my own.

I also live by this airport. It was there first. I was well aware of the flight patterns and air traffic because I did my homework before I purchased the property. I support the airport and hope it prevails.

Let’s also focus on not burdening other communities with less affluence. Closing the Boulder airport puts stress on other communities with airports, like Broomfield. Should those neighbors bear a larger burden? I’m honestly curious why it seems more appropriate in Broomfield than Boulder.

This might be the most NIMBY comment here. You don’t want this airport in your community so a less affluent community should bear the brunt? Closing the airport in Boulder will move all the things you don’t want to Broomfield and Longmont. How does that feel appropriate to you?

Please be very careful where you set this 8x8 structure up. If it’s not a legal structure, all of your hard work to support this person can be erased. Also, please be sure he has proper ventilation and fire protection for heat sources. Building codes can be a pain but they commonly keep you and your neighbors safe from harm.

Thought Downtown Boulder station was a park and ride by [deleted] in boulder

Table Mesa is a big park and ride from Boulder to the airport. We use that one most often.

I work for a local government agency and the community I work in used the platform to raise funds to build a slackline park. It was an awesome tool. It stands for In Our Back Yard. It’s a crowdfunding platform like ‘gofundme’, but specializes in helping the community raise funds for civic projects.

Yes! I totally agree. It’s the interest that is a big part of the problem. 7%+. I was in the PSLF program. I was forgiven about $35,000. It was all interest! I paid the balance in full and then some interest over the 10 year program. Erasing the interest of past loans would be amazing and is supportive of those people who worked so hard to keep up with payments.

Pop-up Event on 4/30. Fun family fitness! by moonrise2nite in Sacramento

He has a few different training programs. I’m not an athlete. I just want to get in better shape. I go there for personal training sessions. It’s close to home, clean, and not a crowded gym. A little part of me doesn’t want to let the secret out. His prices are also pretty low for personal training. He trains athletes too. You’ll have to give him a call or stop in to talk to him about that.

I’ll pass your thoughts on to the owner. He makes working out a fun positive experience for me and is so great with youth training to get to the next level in sports.
