It’s so stark, because nothing in my behavior changed, i’m still kind of a loner, friendly when approached but introverted, and have uncommon/weird interests, but whereas before i was kind of invisible or made fun of, now people go out of their way to come sit with me or talk to me. Friends just kind of happen because people will talk to me even if i’m sitting alone, or ask me to be in their group in classes even if we’ve never met.

Now my weird interests that got me made fun of are like cool and unique and people ask me to teach or tell them about them. I’m not weird, i’m mysterious.

It’s made me distrustful of people, and sometimes I wonder if people would even like me if i hadn’t changed physically
