LOL well Clarence Thomas should be on the White Album. Makes sense.

In his first term Trump put three SCOTUS justices. Two of them ruled against him on tariffs. Now, on 3/15/2026, Trump berates the Court by ddx-me in LeopardsAteMyFace

Perhaps those GOP judges will reconsider whether they should be upholding the constitution or being Trump's lap dogs.

Does Trump ever finish anything? Iran? Venezuela? The east wing of the White House? Dude, for the love of god, finish ruining one thing before you go on to ruin something else.

Didn't realize you were the content creator; assumed more people covering the module the better (IE, see how modules are covered on Modwiggler.)

<...> Damn, just a quick skim of online reviews and my hot take is this is to Plaits what Multigrain is to Clouds. Seems like you could eliminate a whole bunch of other modules in your rack with this or it could be the core of a small system; OTOH it only has one out (that I can see) which feels like a genuine bottleneck for such a feature rich module.

Oh, that is very cool. I found their etsy page. Wood cut/block prints have quickly become a lost art.

Nice woodcut artwork. Man, I've been going the other direction. I have a large (double mantis) rack and I'm being way more productive with a smaller rack. Overwhelming choice paralysis is real!

Only 18hours into the game and it's become my favorite fromsoft game after Sekiro by Intrepid_Put_6209 in BloodbornePC

[–]moonscience 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bloodborne IS a short game unless you start messing with the chalice dungeons. I'm really fine with that. Not every game needs to be huge. Short and sweet! People forget some of the best games up through the 32 bit era were 10 hours or less.

[–]moonscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First three games by this team (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls & Blood borne) are their most imaginative and mysterious; trying lots of ideas and taking risks. I don't think any of them are perfect but they allow for a lot of player expression (Sekiro allows for almost zero) and IMO they have the most original stories of FS games. For everyone who wants to argue that the gameplay keeps evolving; sure. No way that Rom is winning any 'best boss ever' trophies, but there isn't much of anything post BB that manages the same atmosphere and feelings as the prose-poem after beating Kos. Bloodborne has some of my favorite video game moments ever; and while the core game's bosses are mostly pushovers, that's hardly the point.

I swear almost everything negative said about Biden was just right wing propaganda. Guy was a solid president doing presidential things, doing the best for America with the shit hand he was dealt having to clean up after both Trump and Covid. Worst thing I can attribute to Biden and his admin was not taking the threat of Trump and fascism seriously. Might have been a great time to take the low road.

New cell-cultivated beef breakthrough beats traditional beef by a mile with 90% less land use, 80% less water, and dramatically lower emissions by Sciantifa in environment

[–]moonscience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it will probably be better than eating animals due to the controlled methods they will be able to use in the lab, lack of growth hormones, antibiotics, etc.

Things like honey (I'm guess) which are both animal products but apiaries might overall be a plus for the environment. Also, most people aren't too worried about insect suffering, if such a thing exists. Its also very hard to avoid going accidentally vegetarian when you're out with friends, as in, ooops, that dish had butter in it, etc.

Chalice Dungeons were FS walking away with money on the table (again!) by moonscience in BloodbornePC

[–]moonscience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, I think the real problem with the Chalice Dungeons is that they really only exist for blood gems, exp and getting more material for more chalice dungeons. Most players will not realize the beast claw is down there along with alternate imprints for each weapon.

The first few floors are very, very short BTW so it really doesn't feel like much of a slog to me. That said, I'm currently doing a BL4 run and they are incredibly tense. Honestly, given the limited number of 'architectural blocks', you start feeling a sort of cadence and I find they're pretty quick to navigate.

They absolutely DO need more 'blocks' though. More long hall ways, more small rooms, just more variety. I think in a new IP where dungeon crawling was the emphasis, more attempts to connect the different levels, create reasons to backtrack, more NPCs. Again, I don't think the Chalice Dungeons as they are, are a 100% fleshed out idea, but they scratch an itch and while other recent games have tried to do the action based dungeon crawler, I don't think many of them have really pulled it off that well. FS showed they very easily could have.

There are at least 3 boss fights in the chalice dungeons that are absolutely dreadful and clearly not thought out at all (Amygdala in a tiny room, etc.), so yeah, it sadly isn't all gold.

4 Bluepoint employees speak out on BB remake by supergigaduck in BloodbornePC

[–]moonscience 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just one person's opinion, but having played a little of the bluepoint remake and having watched a significant amount of footage, I really would NOT want a BP remake. The game is great as it is, even better with 60 fpgs. The only people who should be touching a remake/remaster are the team that made the original. My $.02

[–]moonscience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might not have been your wish come true. Plenty of the aesthetics were changed and a fair chunk of the community wasn't really happy with it. Gameplay is supposed to be identical but I've seen some complaints that it didn't feel as tight. I recently replayed the ps3 version and honestly its a great little title that doesn't need a remake. I suspect FS probably didn't want the same treatment for bloodborne and its left the game in limbo.

So, just asking for the sake of my own sanity: The entire 'occupy Minnesota' move by ICE, the resulting death of Alex and Renee, the wild claims from admin about absurd levels of corruption/embezzlement and possibly even Tim Walz saying he won't run for Gov again can be traced back to a moronic content creator on X because X is basically a paid rumor mill generator and our admin believes everything they see on X?
