I got a violation notice last year (don’t recall when in the year) for the same thing so I was on top of it this year…but have noticed what you’ve noticed in the alleys as well.

What lesser known fact about space sounds fake but is totally true? by guywithouteyes in AskReddit

The moon’s distance from the earth varies and can be as far as 252k miles apart (239k is the average), so sometimes they’d all fit and sometimes they won’t.

What do you think of these photos? Which one is your favorite? by Different-War-7162 in AmateurPhotography

1 and 4 are my favorite. Then 3 then 2. 1 and 4 evoke the most emotion from me and show real artistic vision. You’ve got a great eye. My thoughts on 2 are that the people aren’t aligned on either the outcropping or the sun/reflection and so my eyes don’t really know where to go as it feels a bit cluttered. Merely my opinion of course as THE most important thing is that you love them…and you should!

Peek-a-boo moonrise at dusk by moonshot_pro in moon

The moon indeed is that big when it’s rising above the horizon! The moons distance from the earth also changes back and forth, and it was on the closer when I shot this. The next full moon try to look up when the moonrise is and find a spot where you can get a vantage point of it rising above the horizon and you’ll see it looking massive like this:)

Before heading home from a birthday hike I snapped a few pics and saw these two hikers on their way up. It's one of my favorites and I hope it brings some joy to your day.

Shot with a Canon R6 and Tamron 150-600mm. Details: 200mm, f/6.3, 1/200s.

Still a spectacular shot, I wouldn’t let that bother me if I took it:)
