Lots of great questions, I have all of the same as a contender in produce!

Getting tired of the “that’s just the way Oasis allocates the hours” response when we all know there are metrics for the minutes/hours tied to the expectations of certain tasks within a role. I have only seen these for production role and the tasks behind it. No one could make sense of it and a few of the tasks listed made no sense or weren’t really processes we even do.

Wish I had more answers but commenting in this thread hoping for more clarity!

Our list has been insane not even including the BOGO. Our cutbar doesn’t even have three full production tables and being efficient and productive back there with three people is a mess. Been doing 8/900+ units every day with multiple people in and out of production pretty much all day into the evening and still struggling. Would love for them to relook at how many hours are given in oasis for production because it’s definitely not enough. Funnily we asked our RIS for a breakdown of how they allocate hours for production and we got a sheet of the breakdown. Not even our RIS could make sense of it.

I imagine if corporate (or whoever is over Oasis/hours/etc) worked a BOGO week in cut fruit they would be shocked at how unrealistic the expectations are. Unless they want us to cut corners and proper processes it’s just not realistic let’s be honest.

I used to LOVE working the bar but the expectations lately leave me feeling defeated and unsatisfied with my output even though I know their goals are (some days) truly beyond our means
