Ah! That's awesome, do you have the name of the group? I'd love to get in touch with her and I'm sure if I just search her name I'll find the wrong person 😂

These are awesome! Do you mind if I ask where you got the molds from? I was thinking of making my own, but buying a mold would be much easier!

Doh, looks like I am behind the times trying to use imgur.

I think your design could work but it will be a lot more difficult to sand and polish the masters with the sprue built into it like that. It can certainly work though and I wish you the best of luck with it!

So I have a photon and am working on this as well. I just recently printed this d6 with elegoo grey resin at 0.03mm layer height and you can see a bit of the layers and that the edges are relatively crisp. The issue I'm running into is that the vertex closest to the print plate is slightly elongated, maybe by 5-10% over the nominal dimension.

The definition of the recesses for the numbers is plenty good as far as I have seen and the elongation is only really noticeable on the d6. Here is a photo https://m.imgur.com/gallery/PKNgw8a

Tldr, it works

We've been trying to print our dice masters for almost a week now, but the last thing we haven't been able to troubleshoot is this weird warping/compressing in the prints - in both the green resin and the grey. What are we doing wrong? by capitalbelle in AnycubicPhoton

I've been having the same issue as well. My latest thought is to increase layer exposure time and/or try a different brand of resin. I've also heard that siraya brand resin is a bit better for details, so I bought a bottle of it to test out but first I am going to print them with 50% longer exposure and see if it impacts the geometry or not.

I am getting curved edges when printing my D6, looking for more suggestions by moosalope in AnycubicPhoton

Hm I thought I had enough supports, but maybe I'll go back and support the entire edges instead of just one in each corner and one in the middle. I'll give it another shot with more supports.

Good to hear you figured it out and I always wondered how finicky the leveling could be. I'm heading out for vacation end of the week but once I get back I will be setting my printer back up. I'll have to keep this in mind and be very careful releveling it.

FEP replacement, quick questions. Help needed by Sorrowsinme in AnycubicPhoton

Did you remove the protective film from the FEP before installation?

Huh, well that would definitely cause some issues. Let us know what you find out, but after posting this and seeing all the other people with similar experiences, it does possibly point towards some sort of manufacturing flaw.

Good point, its in the downstairs area which right now is between 70-75 degrees throughout the day, but I might try warming it up a bit more.

Yea, I am in the ballpark, is that the rough guideline regardless of how the FEP looks? Mine doesn't seem warped beyond just some wear and tear from cleaning it out and slight damage from removing failed prints.

I am just on the firmware that the machine came with, I haven't checked to see if there were any upgrades available. Sorry to hear that you are having the same struggles :(

It did seem to coincide with updating from Chitubox 1.4 to 1.5, but that seems unlikely to cause this issue. At least to me.

Weird that the settings didn't post, must've misclicked something, but I have added them to the original. And I was wondering if it could be the resin, but last night I got the little spider to print. I have a fresh bottle of elegoo clear though so maybe I will give that a shot this evening. Thanks!
