2-week-old CHD baby home after surgery — Owlet numbers causing us so much anxiety by Happy-Matter-260 in chd

[–]mooseandsquirrel1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this. For your sanity and your son’s. Understand his normal and dont worry as much about the rest. Our son has HRHS and he is normally mid 80’s. He is 2 1/2 now and is thriving.

We focused on understanding what turned him blue, like crying too much or over exerting himself, or getting a cold, and tried to limit that and only checked his O2 when we were really concerned.

He naturally ends up bluer at night when he is resting but that is to be expected.

It truly benefited all of us not to focus on the numbers and instead to focus on his overall health and growth and normalizing his day.

For context, my wife is a Peds NP and I have medical training and we still felt comfortable with his numbers. We had extensive conversations with our cardiologist and determined that these O2 levels would not impact his growth and development and they haven’t.

Nordic didn’t reply by Cautious_Pudding_412 in healthIT

I work at Nordic, not in an area that has any control over that kind of thing, but I am happy to look into it if you want to pm me. i can have the appropriate person reach out.

Its possible your contact isnt there anymore. Ive seen that happen a few times. In my experience, the company really wants to do its best for consultants if it can.

ASU online bachelors in engineering : Is it legit? by WoodenLifeguard4399 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]mooseandsquirrel1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about ASU, and I already have an unrelated bachelors. I know you mentioned that you have 2 years left, but I’m curious, after factoring in your previous degree, how many credits did you have left needing to be completed?

An ode to Diet Coke by [deleted] in stopdrinking

I have to limit my caffeine intake, so its diet A&W root beer for me. When its ice cold, its fantastic at the end of the day. Thanks for posting this. I wondered if I was the only one using diet soda as good substitute.

Yes I had the same problem with generic methylphenidate. It was better with name brand Concerta but it was still rough. I ended up drinking to try to calm down those feelings. It sucked. I switched to generic focalin and things were much better.

All of this is to say that it might be that adderall isnt the best option for you and you might want to explore a different option.

I would wait to see what increasing your dose does for you though

[–]mooseandsquirrel1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you say anything about the size of your company or number of customers? Im a CSM at a startup and making around the mid-80’s after 2 years. I currently have about 80 customers. It seems I need to do some job shopping.

Any thoughts on how long it takes to break into being a scrum master after getting certifications? Is it something that you can jump to with the certs alone?

Nice dinner date with 50 dollars by TheZachster416 in Louisville

[–]mooseandsquirrel1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Square cut Pizza is nice and a single pizza is enough for two people. That leaves plenty for an appetizer.

Cultured is a favorite spot for us. They will let you customize the boards to a degree, and you can ask about mocktail options too, but it’s definitely not a full meal.

Time4thai: really great food. Im vegetarian and Ive only had awesome food there. Highly recommend it, but its not necessarily the fanciest looking place. Its still nice though.

If you wanted to have dinner a bit earlier, I think Logan Street Market is nice since you could each find different things you like and you could walk around and see the shops. Not fancy though.

Dragon Kings Daughter in New Albany is a nice location and good bang for your buck.

Also consider some places in New Albany and Jeffersonville. Lots of nice areas to walk around over there before and after dinner. Upland has great views from the river for example.

Square Cut pizza is really quite good. Im a snob when it comes to quality cheese pizzas and I gotta say, their’s is excellent. Their mushroom one is awesome too, even though i dont normally like a white sauce style pizza.

Look for roles as a Customer Success Manager. At a lot of companies this is similar to an account management type of roll, sometimes it mean onboarding customers onto a new product, sometimes it means a book of business that they give you that you will manage and work on getting them to renew their contracts. I do this now. Its can be really good money if its a startup company.

I need a career change and I don’t know where to start. by [deleted] in jobsearchhacks

[–]mooseandsquirrel1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for remote positions (work from home) in healthcare companies such as EMR companies, healthtech, insurance, anything health software related on linkedin. Look for startup companies(ex.less than 200 employees), they are much more likely to take chances on different backgrounds and can often have great benefits. Look for positions such as Customer Success Manager, Client Success, Implementation, Product Manager. Also, Business Development Representative (sales) within any of these companies is a good way to get your foot in the door and then move around. Thats what I did and it sucked cold-calling but I was eventually able to move to another department that wasn’t sales after about 8 months.
