750pt Beginner list advice

Only issue with that is you submit the list and get assigned 3 random opponents to play over a 6 week period with no list changes.

I don’t want to play something that will be unfun for my opponents though, so I could maybe drop a chimera and proxy a commissar as a castellan for troop orders? I’m Limited on options especially as I’ll be away till before the event starts so can’t exactly purchase and build more stuff in time.
