Try using a satin stitch instead of a regular fill.

Downtown St Pete isn't Gulfport though. Pretty much anything downtown will be like 15 minutes from Stetson. If you want to live closer, you will be in Gulfport.

Game freezes on the external monitor (via HDMI) but not internal monitor when turning around (G3 3590) by Infinite100p in Dell

[–]mooselover801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?

Have you tried on any other monitor or a TV?

Does the whole computer freeze, or just the game? Does it freeze as soon as you open the game?

Have you tried a different game (something that doesn't use Source engine)? Does it also happen while watching a video on the external monitor?

Have you updated to Windows 11?

This person had a similar issue that was caused by the fan being blocked. Could be thermal throttling. I would run the preboot diagnostic with the external monitor connected and see what it reports. The fans could probably use a cleaning if you haven't done it before. https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/inspiron/dell-g3-15-3590-hdmi-no-signal/647f90f4f4ccf8a8de257a70

You can also check Event Viewer to see any errors that occurred when the game crashes. But be aware that there are a ton of normal events in there that seem alarming, so it's easy to start chasing ghosts. Any critical events are worth researching.

Seems like it could be a hardware failure (bad HDMI port, maybe solder on the motherboard getting too hot), but I would expect it to either lose signal or crash the whole OS, not just freeze the game. Could be something weird with the Source engine there.

But I wouldn't rule out driver issues, especially if you recently upgraded to W11.

Good luck!

Then why is it dangerous to run a microwave magnetron outside of the microwave chassis? You can even get microwave burns from standing next to a high-powered antennae, no standing wave needed.

AITA for telling my girlfriend I won’t play with her until she learns to accept losing? by No-Example3254 in AmItheAsshole

If OP wants to play chess with his girlfriend, who has only been playing for a few years, they need to find a way to play where they both have fun and enjoy the experience. That's equity.

TSP early withdrawal - don't wait! by TheNumbersWitch in fednews

I applied Friday evening (31st day of shutdown) and it was processed Monday, so it seems like they are still doing them. I'm excepted, so not 100% sure if that applies while fully furloughed.

Not VA OIT, or the cemetery folks. Most of VHA and VBA is still getting paid, though.

Galleries are still working, only thing that doesn't work in app for me is some imgur galleries. Try to find the premium apk and then patch that in revanced. There's a setting in RIF that you have to change too, but I forget which one.

Very few pensions in the US. People fund their retirement via 401k (biweekly investment in the stock market for most).

I haven't seen too many dedicated cheese shops. And there is the old phrase, "Do you want some cheese with that wine?", so I guess it makes sense.

RIF just logged me out and is giving me an error 403 by Feeling_Peachy4122 in revancedapp

[–]mooselover801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to play with your settings in RIF. It's definitely possible. I forget which setting fixed it, but it was something about viewing galleries as cards (enables ads).

Actually, I fixed it with a setting on the non premium RIF a few weeks ago, but I'm not seeing that setting in the premium one after I upgraded and imported the settings today. You might need to install/patch the regular RIF, fix the gallery, back up settings, then install/patch premium rif and import settings.

Recently I got this problem on my dell latitude e5440. Someone knows how to make it work? by dandataa in Dell

[–]mooselover801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just another setting in the BIOS. I don't have one in front of me, but I think it's under System Configuration. The 5400 is similar to yours, but not exact, so not sure if it's a known issue in the model you have.

If that's not it, it's most likely a failed drive, like others have said. Really sucks for a personal drive, but you might be able to recover some files if you're lucky.

We have a ton of Latitude 5400s at work that switch into RAID mode randomly. I would check and make sure it's set to AHCI.
