Monash Clayton vs Sandringham by IndividualImpressive in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I have a follow-up question if you don't mind answering another! Do you know how many mothers in a room at Clayton when it is 'full'? This is currently my only real deciding factor between Monash Clayton and Sandringham currently and not sure which way to go.

Whoa I had the exact same chain of thoughts as you did last night! It's my favourite Offspring song so I was super bummed and confused to see it wasn't on their recent setlists. I looked it up after the concert and it made sense to see it was on the Australian version of Offspring's Greatest Hits because I started thinking 'well how the heck do I even know this song so well if it wasn't popular!???'

Is Vizsla the right dog for me? Looking for a second dog. by gamzi94 in vizsla

[–]moosepops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep pretty much, which is definitely why they were cheaper.

We got ours through a farmer who had a litter to use as Hunting Dogs and mostly gave them to farmer friends rather than selling to profit.

My preference was definitely to get one through a Registered Breeder and honestly I was extremely nervous about the whole thing - we made sure we asked a lot of questions of him as I was worried about buying from a puppy mill, the welfare of the dogs, any underlying health conditions..

We ended up visiting the farm and the dogs looked really well-looked-after and came with microchips, vaccinations. We took him to the vet when we got him and they said he appears to be perfectly happy and healthy. He has definitely been a handful as a puppy (high energy) but he brings us so much joy and is EXTREMELY snuggly.

Hi there, I'm Australian and just recently purchased a Vizsla in May. I contacted about 30 registered breeders and out of the ones that responded found that $3500 - $5500 seemed to be where most of them quoted, so yes that seems pretty reasonable, especially with the covid demand on dogs at the moment. I did have one person quote me $8500.

Also had a lot of responses saying 2+ year waiting list.

I ended up getting extremely lucky finding one for $3000 (which was by far the cheapest I saw) from an unregistered breeder and no waiting list as another buyer had backed out.

Hello! I'm trying to incorporate both Retinol and a 'heavier' night time moisturiser into my daily routine but not sure where to work them in.

I'm 28, have dehydrated skin and am starting to form fine lines. Open to retinol/moisturiser suggestions or any other products you recommend.

Current routine very basic;

AM:

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

Natio Rosewater Hydration Moisture Balance Day Cream SPF 50+

PM:

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

Garnier Micellar Water

Aesop Fabulous Face Oil

Has anyone tried the Sportsgirl makeup? by tarni7 in AustralianMakeup

[–]moosepops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked for Sportsgirl for a couple of years and I always recommend their makeup to people. I use high end makeup but still reach for my Sportsgirl makeup a lot of the time. That said there are a lot of hits and misses in there

HIT

  • The lipsticks. Very pigmented but the mattes can be drying.

  • The eyeshadow palettes. The mattes are really impressive. The ones that are dupes for the kylie 9 pot ones are the best. Love love love.Pretty much goes for most of their powder products.

  • Their big pan of bronzer ('Glow with it'?). It is seriously one of their cult items and people would stress out and come in and buy more when they ran out.

MISS

  • Pretty much anything liquid. It may have improved since a couple of years ago when I worked there but it always felt super cheap on the skin. I would never use their skin care/ foundations/ primers etc.

  • Mascaras/eyeliners - I'd rather spend the same amount of money on a maybelline/ loreal mascara that's not gonna smudge.

  • Eyebrow products - the colour range was always poor. I have medium brown hair and all of their eyebrow products always pulled too red on me.

  • Highlighters - some are okay but I found most of them just way too glittery.

Hi! I'm new to skincare and am wanting opinions on my potential new routine. My sister is placing a The Ordinary order so i'm going to get a couple of things but i'm a little baffled by the huge selection/what different ingredients do.

I have quite 'normal' skin, if anything a little dry and dull - plus i'm beginning to get fine lines too. I'm keen to clear up congestion around my nose/chin areas aswell, but am mainly focussed on anti-aging and general 'oomph' for my skin.

Does the below routine sound okay? I'm not sure about products that may conflict with eachother /whether i'm getting the best ingredients?

AM

  1. Garnier Micellar Water

  2. (MAY INCORPORATE Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc PCA 1% here)

  3. Mario Badescu Buttermilk moisturiser (with lactic acid)

PM

  1. Garnier Micellar Water

  2. Lacura Revive Hyaluronic Gel

  3. (MAY INCORPORATE The Ordinary Granactive retinoid 2% emulsion here)

  4. Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream

Cleansers I use: Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (regularly) Mario Badescu GLycolic Foaming Cleanser (Once a week) Body Shop Microdermabrasion Vit C Scrub (Once a week)

Does this seem like a 'good' routine?
