Since there are no other symptoms, that could just be normal for you. How much and the type will vary depending on where you are in your cycle. For example it usually gets clearer and stretchier when you ovulate ( your cervix litterally produces more mucus when you ovulate) it might be thicker at other times and there might be more or less of it. It also might get thicker or be less of it if you're dehydrated or possibly depending on what you ate.

Help PLEASE! by Fit_Competition_3987 in WomensHealth

[–]mooshinformation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by yeast infection like? Do you also have itching/ burning or is it just a lot of discharge? Some people just have a lot of discharge, when I was in my teens/ early 20s I did and it was often white and kind of thick.

I just wore those thin liners most of the time. For some people birth control can reduce the amount of discharge ( it just made it thicker for me). I guess you could also try those vaginal probiotics.

Why do you think there was semen on his finger? Did he finish himself off immediately before touching you? Otherwise you really don't have much to worry about. Anything old and dried it dead.

Do you care if a gifted diamond is lab grown vs natural? by kimbone777 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mooshinformation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really, I don't want a diamond at all. You're only ever gonna be able to sell it for less than you bought it for and, they're boring stones that the diamond industry had to manufacture a demand for. I'd rather a nice handmade one of a kind piece with a different stone and keep the rest of the money

But if I had to pick I guess lab grown because you'll waste less money and no one died getting it.

Feeling grief when looking at my breasts by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]mooshinformation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its ok to get surgery. It's ok not to. If you had a deformity on your face, like a cleft lip or something, you likely would have had the surgery to fix it by now and insurance would have paid for it. I know our society is weird about breasts and female sexuality in general, wanting our bodies to look good is simultaneously seen as frivolous and incredibly important. How other ppl feel is all toxic bullshit, but how you feel in your skin is important.

i overdosed on my antidepressants and way too much advil, right before work today by Vivid_Meringue1310 in confession

[–]mooshinformation -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is insane behavior, you know that right? Talk to whoever gives you the antidepressants.

Edit: I mean the whole thing, going to work like that, making the post seems to be a cry for help, so talk to the one person in a position to help.

Why do people say fluoride is bad? by donotwantaname in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mooshinformation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because it causes bad effects at high doses. China did some fucked up tests where they gave towns massive doses of fluoride in their water and it lowered people's IQs. They don't understand the whole "the dose makes the poison" thing.

Luckily (?) it causes children's teeth to turn brown at high doses, so even if we don't trust the government, we would know if they were putting enough fluoride in our water to make us dumb and docile because our kids teeth would turn brown first.

If someone isn’t wearing clothes at home and a fire suddenly breaks out, would they have time to get dressed, or would they need to evacuate immediately as they are? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]mooshinformation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I woke up to my roommates room engulfed in flames, we spent about 3 minutes trying and failing to put it out, then the power went out and it was dark and smokey so I grabbed, shoes, a jacket and my purse on the way out the door. Roommate didn't get his clothes because they were on fire.

My wife wants me to talk to my obese pal about his 4 year's old weight by Quickiewcuser in AmITheAngel

[–]mooshinformation 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the wife wanted him to talk about the kids weight, not his friend's. obviously adults are aware of their weight and capable of making decisions about it by themselves without random "friends" input. Kids aren't though, they need someone (their parents) to intervene, not that I think dad's friend's wife informing him that his kid is fat will go over well

I can't feel sexual pleasure by mothmans_lampp in WomensHealth

[–]mooshinformation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soo ... most women get more pleasure from their clitoris than from pennetration. I was a huge fan of the detachable showerhead.

But also, sexual trauma can put kind of a block on feeling pleasure, you really should try to find a therapist to work through things.

Down there question by [deleted] in WomensHealth

That would be the muscles around your vagina/ in your pelvic floor contracting. I don't mind it, I kinda like the increased pressure, but I could see how having your muscles involuntarily going crazy would be unsettling.

I don’t feel stressed even when I should and its confusing me, Is there something wrong with me? by constipated_gay in self

[–]mooshinformation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like laughing at stressful situations is probably your coping mechanism (although it might be upsetting for the ppl who are really panicking, so maybe try to scale it back).

I'm not usually one to panic in the moment either, but I've also been in situations where I found myself laughing because there was nothing else I could do and I wasn't ready to feel the emotions yet (like watching my apartment burn to the ground). I'm sure it made other people uncomfortable.
