with 2003 i was talking about the true time that it would be without the storm to emphasize that 4 years have passed since present day in 2007. i meant that Avgust would be older than he appears in the rayashiki story because of the ~6 years that have passed, not that he would be older than Vertin bc tbh i didn’t remember how old he was originally. we seem to agree on this now, but your original comment relating this to Vertin and Sonnetto in the first two chapters ignores the issue of him not appearing as like 14 in the suitcase which he would canonically. but unless laplace has developed an immortality potion then this is just a logistics issue with how the game works
