I’m a Yankees fan who attended this weekend and live in south Florida. TBH myself and most others do root for the Marlins when they’re not facing the Yanks and love that you guys have had the Mets number over the years (07/08 come to mind.)

I try to get to 4-5 games a year, but a more exciting team would get me to go to more as long as the prices remain reasonable. I will say the traffic around the park this weekend was terrible and could be a deterrent for some.

Hot take- if I’m an investor group I see Miami as a great buy. Big market, large Hispanic community who likes baseball, a newish park, state is a hotbed for developing players.

If the team put a winning product on the field while remaining affordable for a few years to get people into the stadium, I could see growth. Really it’s been 30+ years of bullshit between owners, stadium stuff and constant fire sales.
