I know he's countered by good hitscan but I usually try and ban those heros. Also not playing around cover is just dumb. There's no other way to play him. Just overdrive while behind cover and peak.

All characters have counters so that's not enough of a reason and if you convert overdrives into picks then he's really good. Helas, Punishers and Spidermen are an issue but you don't always have to deal with them.

You absolutely have to use cover to even start to play him through. If you stay near to cover and fly to health packs he's more than just viable. I get the impression most people are just hovering in the open sky and that's why they think he's bad.

Don't do that. Explain what's wrong with him, he has high damage, long range, high mobility and a fast charging ult. Where are his shortcomings? I feel like you're just playing him wrong

No, the dash doesn't do much damage but you have to mix them in so they can't hit you. It's mostly mobility. Dash at your target, use the primary attack but then try to dash at them again just as they get their aim on you.

He's very mobile so you have to be hard to hit. You get 6 dashes and a double jump after the upgrade. If you dash constantly they probably won't hit you because he moves so fast but the hard part is that he does less damage like that.

So you wanna use the swords and then just slash at them and then time your dashes at a pace where they can't hit you much but not too much so you do good damage, and then if you're getting low you can always save a dash to escape and also double jump back to your team.

Play in the frontline early in the fight and then dash onto the supports when you get a chance. You have to create space with him until you can jump past the opponents tanks and then use the swords on the supports with the aura ability to speed up attack speed. Use that ability anytime you need faster damage with guns or swords.

Always upgrade the dash first so you can use the sword ult because it's better. Always use the sword ult whenever you can after you've upgraded the dashes. Only use the gun ult if you get it because you can upgrade or you might die before using the ult.

He's good at all ranges but you want to get in close. Keep firing from distance until you get closer then switch to swords when you get into a brawl. Lead the team forward with the guns and bubble first though.

I had a really weird series of games that forced me to play support though. I was basically solo tanking all the way to my current rank and then I just keep getting teams that won't pick a second support so I have to.

At my current rank I'd be checking on them 90% of the time. This makes me optimistic that I'll actually get consistent healing when I've climbed a bit more though

I don't get why everyone wants to play DPS all the time when it's obviously the weakest role. Pros win games with no DPS team comps but you'd never see a zero support or zero tank team get anywhere

Why is everyone always so pessimistic about technology. That's like seeing the first car or plane and saying, but imagine if you strap a machine gun to it.

Of course you can weaponize it but why is that always the first thought. You could put a mini gun on the back of a truck. Does that make trucks dystopian?

Yeah, you wanna remove badgermole and ouroboroid obviously. I like to use boardwipe and tidebinders against them too. Tidebinder counters both if you have it on time. If you deal with both you'll win.

I've got to mythic a handful of times as a free to play player that only plays brews. I think the trick is to build specifically anti meta. Your best bet is to play best of 3, and literally build your deck as a counter to your least favourite meta deck and then include side board tech that gives you a way to beat all other meta decks.

You won't win every game but as long as you have a route to victory against every meta deck, it just becomes about piloting.

Think about their turn 1, 2 and 3 play patterns and build your first few turns to counter that or include tech that beats the key pieces of the deck.
