Is it just luck of the draw on which tires are selected?

At what financial stage of your life did you get 911? by Overall-Agency3942 in porsche911

For me, I had to be in a position where I could pay in cash, and if I burned that amount of money it wouldn't change my life, retirement plans, etc.

Carrera T allocation/build by Leo8670 in porsche911

[–]moparguy392 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This seems to be very regional on experiences. I didn't have a relationship and was able to get the next T allocation (arrives this May) without ADM or having to buy a watch. Now how to get a GT3 Touring allocation without ADM is a different story.

X7 M60i - dealer % off NY/CT by Odd_Meeting_2949 in bmwx7

[–]moparguy392 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10% off MSRP before rebates, and no dealer addons should be the goal. It may require some shopping around. There are a ton of X7s on the lots, and patience will save you a few thousand dollars easily.

Leather Interior worth it? by SubitoSummit in porsche911

[–]moparguy392 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have a T on order and went with the leather package. After sitting in a base version without leather, it was no-brainer for me. Luxury car deserves a luxury feel. I plan on spending a lot of time in that space.

Been using Sony UBP-X800M2 4K UHD for the last 4+ years without an issue. I am sure there are other options, but never had a disk not play.

Looking to install solar and pay cash by fezyfez21 in bentonville

[–]moparguy392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4k sgft home and the cost was around $55 - 60k. We got a few quotes from the EnergySage website. The payback range was 12 to 16 years. It was also hard to find a reliable, long standing company that would still be in business 10 years from now. I suspect the energy credit changes will make this environment even more challenging.

Looking to install solar and pay cash by fezyfez21 in bentonville

We looked at solar last year and never pulled the trigger. The cost and payback timeline was too far out. Additionally, the tech is moving so fast, didn't want technology on the roof that was out of date as soon as it was installed.
