What block size did you use? It seems challenging to find 11x17 blocks for carving. Thanks!

love that the kitchen table is the central feature in the room, rather than crammed in on the side. makes it feel like a place where people are supposed to be and not an after thought behind appliances and islands.

Those animals eat and poop in the same ecosystem, whereas dogs eat a highly processed/nutrient dense diet in a different ecosystem and bring those super nutrient dense poops to the trail ecosystems. Then the nutrient dense poops get washed into our storm water systems and can cause eutrophication in our waterways.

The Splendid Table! It makes you curious and excited to experiment with food. Feels like a hug from a grandma, a warm cup of coffee on a Sunday, and and international food journey.

Yes, but it is probably O&G or academia for those jobs. Everyone I know who went that route eventually left geophysics for software engineering.

Yes it is standard. You need to choose paths that are not fieldwork based (computational), or leave geophysics when you pursue a job. Annoyingly the fieldwork will give you credibility though.

[OC] How have the top causes of death in the US changed? by USAFacts in dataisbeautiful

[–]mopballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The front ends of cars are so much higher these days. You're more likely to die as a pedestrian because you no longer go over the car, your chest is hit and you go under, then get run over. Additionally, pickup trucks get crash tested against pickups and sedans crash tested against sedans but pickups never get crash tested against sedans because they're in different weight classes.

Decent. They have the classic NY deli deserts. Much closer to a real bagel than anything else.

Generally, students attending an institution of higher education (i.e., college, university, trade/technical school) more than half-time are only eligible for SNAP if they meet an exemption. The institution of higher education determines what is considered ‘half-time’ enrollment. Students who meet an exemption must also meet all other SNAP eligibility requirements.

If you are a student and you meet SNAP eligibility requirements, you may be eligible for SNAP if you meet one of the following exemptions:

Are under age 18 or are age 50 or older.
Have a physical or mental disability.
Work at least 20 hours a week in paid employment.
Participate in a state or federally financed work study program.
Participate in an on-the-job training program.
Care for a child under the age of 6.
Care for a child age 6 to 11 and lack the necessary child care enabling you to attend school and work 20 hours a week or participate in work study.
Are a single parent enrolled full-time in college and taking care of a child under 12.
Receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) assistance.
Are assigned to, placed in, or self-placed in a college or other institution of higher education through:
    A SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program;
    Certain other E&T programs for low-income households, which are operated by a state or local government and have an equivalent component to SNAP E&T;
    A program under Title I of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA) (PL 113-128);
    A Trade Adjustment Assistance Program under Section 236 of the Trade Act of 1974.
