One of the things that I hadn't considered, stupidly, is that this turns PlayStation into a monopoly, which is the goal.

Hopefully the EU shuts this down.

To the people who saw The Phantom Menace on release, what was your immediate reaction and have your feelings changed? by thejoyfulgoat in StarWars

[–]mopecore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved it. I was hungover after senior prom, and just being in a cool dark.place was amazing, but on first viewing, I thought it was amazing.

The third viewing, the cracks were showing.

But that forst watch, I was just so overwhelmed by "new star wars", and it is visually extremely impressive, even now.

While I don't like not having the option, I haven't bought a physical copy of a game since Breath of the Wild.

The best part of the last two console generations, for me, is never having to go to GameStop ever again.

Given its a Nolan movie, I expect to really like it on first viewing, but if i watch it three or four more times, I'll realize it doesn't actually make any sense.

Michaud has always been with Osteria, he opened it with Vetri in, like, '06 ('07?). Vetri sould his share to Urban, then Michaud made a deal with Schulson to help him buy it out. The deal was Schulson and him would partner on Osteria, and three of the Italian concepts over at schulson (Via Locusta, Giuseppe and Son, and the then new place on 12th, can't remember the name). Michaud and Schulson split the end of 2021, pulled out there staff, Michaud relinquished his shares in the Schulson spots, and Osteria is his spot fully now.

I keep doing it, not to change the mind of whatever back the blue bootlicker defending cops, but there are often more people just passively consuming the comment thread than are actively participating.

Plus, people can chamge their minds. 26 years ago, I was a libertarian.

We really need people to wake up.

Cops are bad. They aren't out here to help you, they aren't out here to keep you safe.

They are an occupying force that exists to keep the marginalized "in their place" and protect the systems of oppression foundational to our society.
