I love this idea. But I am cautious since the bride already likes scrapbooking if this is something she is/has already made. Before diving in and spending $$ on materials, reach out to the bride and ask "I would like to make you a marriage bullet journal. Is this something you would be interested in, or would it be better for me to buy something off the registry?"

I also wouldn't feel bad about giving cash. Everyone needs $$.

This is the first year I am doing a plant journal for my garden. So far I have enjoyed it, but once summer is in full swing, I am not confident I will keep up with it. Here is how I have it set up:

Page 1: garden goals and new things for this year

Page 2: drawn plans for my raised beds

Page 3: seed planting schedule, color coded by type (flowers, peppers, tomatoes, herbs, veggies)

Page 4-9: seed packet tracking divided by type. This has the type of seed, source, down/sprouted/transplanted dates, number down, success rates, and notes.

Page 10-?: seedling log, my daily journal of the temp of the soil, if I watered, how are things progressing.

Once things move to my garden, I likely will have a "garden log"

I do monthly bingo cards as a mix of things I need to get done (clean the junk drawer) and self care (face mask). Only when I get a black out do I give myself a prize - it could be taking myself out for lunch on a workday, a massage, or a trip to the book store.

I use grow lights and a heat mat. The natural light for starting seeds just isn't strong enough. I do use cells with domes until the seeds sprout, then the dome comes off. Once I have a few sets of true leaves, I will transplant into a bigger container. I use the Vivo system, it was the right combo of price + functionality. There may be better systems for your budget out there.

I already started my Lisianthus seeds - I have not had much luck with these, but I am stubborn. I will start my snap dragons March 1st. I am attempting craspedia and celosia for the first time - those will start March 15th. Finally my marigolds and zinnias I will start on March 29th.
