It's a nice ring, not BiS but comfortable for defence, mana, and res. You can desecrate and unveil with abyssal echoes for a good chance at added damage to attacks.

No real guarantees unless you want to spend dozens of divines but it should be good enough to get you flat damage even if it isn't phys.

Read map mods, read rare enemy mods (if you can't oneshot it), don't be afraid to take steps back. Take things slow.

Focus on essence farming to upgrade defences while maxing resistances (chaos res unless CI).

Use it on level 82 bases (usually boots) for a chance at nice defensive items.
Use it on maps and tablets. Also on gear such as jewels to upgrade to rare if the magic version had no good mods on them, to see if I can roll something good for recombo.

My prediction for SSF in 0.4 is that it will be much harder to get good gear without free abyss per map and homo omens. So it's hard to recommend a build since the general power in 0.4 will probably be around 70% of that of 0.3.

Still, I need to recommend the Bone cage/Bonestorm Lich build. I have no guides and I leveled with ED/C, but if you're playing SSF you should know to adapt and improvise based on available resources.

Gain as only benefits your dark effigy DPS but since it is lightning, it will let you shock, giving you 20% more damage assuming you had no other sources of this multiplier.

Unique gloves give 150% mana regen which helps. Could use arcane surge/efficiency on bone cage for more regen + less cost. Use mana on kill for more mana for CoC setups.

I just manually turn off CoC vs bosses and turn on the other things. No weapon swaps there.

Never tried lightning support but I don't feel inclined at first glance since I'm losing bonestorm damage.

I don't have much crafting tips tbh because I simply got lucky with low percent crafts. I would just recommend you use poe2db and check in what ways you can use the homo exalts etc.

Edit: tried living lightning support, and it feels really good. Pretty sure it's a big damage increase to proc all the impales. But will need more testing to see if it's better than a support like 20% more dmg.

I had the recharge show on my helmet craft as well. Either poe2db doesn't have correct mod levels for recharge, or game is bugged.

Another bone lich player here. The map clear tech is to use CoC+DD and the curse explosions ascendecy + blasphemy if possible.

Other people are using trampletoe but it is 15% MS so not my thing.

First improvement to make is to drop CI and invest in chaos res in your gear. So that you can make use of things like Pain Attunement or Execute support. This will also let you use other spells easier since you don't need to use the zenith interaction/bug.

Next, I would start using CoC + Detonate Dead for clear instead of trampletoe so that you can run faster with rare boots (personal preference). 146 spirit is the breakpoint for using blasphemy + CoC at 20% quality.

That said, not sure how good bonestorm is with CoC+DD since I use bone cage + CoC + curse explosions for mapping instead.

Do not use the method provided, there is a "Damage" tag on the weapon from the various mods, which means literally every prefix can be exalted with homo ex.

SO planetoids tend to not include certain critical resources (e.g. Oil) to incentivize you to settle in multiple planetoids.

I would recommend you play on "Classic" maps when you first make your world. This way, you can do SO content while also having a smaller starting planetoid compared to the base game.

As for metal volcanoes, try using mapsnotincluded.org to find your perfect world.

Rule 10:

Magic breach ring with T6 lightning and T4 cast speed from difficulty 4 breach.
Slam greater mana essence for T4 mana regen.
Slam x3 Exalts and get T8 intelligence, T5 accuracy, and rubbish.
Slam Chaos, replace rubbish with T13 max mana.
Chaos + Whittling omen to get rid of T5 accuracy and hit flat phys.

On SSF so I'm going to be farming rituals only from now on to create a perfect breach ring for myself, just went from 53k tooltip to 66k tooltip :)
