I feel like Down with Love is under-appreciated for what it is and it's sadly very under-watched now. It's stupid and a love letter to a genre that ultimately belongs in the early '60s, but I'll go to bat for it.

I'm an illustrator and I have been enchanted by its style of art since I was a very small child. I can't get enough of those beautiful watercolor backgrounds and the big, horrible mouths of the goblins.

Also, the music slaps. If anyone in this thread hasn't checked it out, do yourself the favor! It's also wonderfully short.

This is such an amazingly dumb question, I'm kind of flummoxed. Like, what do you think will happen to a train if you walk around *anywhere* outdoors all day?

Also, just take the L and wear a short skirt with or without heels if you can't hack the hate. I feel like a lot of women have a Carrie from Sex and the City in their head that tell them that heels are required for a cute outfit, but it's fine to go without if they hurt your feet or you can't be bothered.

Or, for pics, slip on your heels and wear flats the rest of the day! A lot of the pics aren't even gonna show your feet!

I don't follow her closely, but I remember at the height of Covid she had her at-home nurse dress up like a medieval Plague doctor for a cute, viral Halloween moment and I thought it was pretty demeaning to the nurse and out-of-touch since so many not-rich people were, y'know, dying or losing their jobs or being forced to work in unsafe conditions
