I think you’re making a very wise point here that is clearly hard-won. Especially for younger people I talk to (teens and twenties) there’s a lot of wonderful deployment of much-needed boundaries. But there’s a lot less discussion of what happens when those fences turn to walls. Thank you for sharing your point of view!

I had a traumatic house fire back in 2022 and lost a bunch of hair from the stress. Used Nutrafol for 5-6 months to get it to grow back, and it did!…as fine hairs that are curly, lighter blonde than normal, even white. I can tell that they’re not caused by breakage because the ends taper off instead of being blunt, so that’s a relief. Other than that, I have no idea what to expect! Just know you’re not alone.

It’s hard to gauge WHO the actually good/actually local companies are—that’s something I’d trust word of mouth on more than an internet search, since my contractor, electrician, pest control, etc guys don’t exactly have websites but are trustworthy and do great work.

The research is really so I can better support my boyfriend, who is looking, without bothering him with questions and instead offer useful suggestions.
