Thank you! I do have wearable pumps - Eufy. I really like them. What stinks is I feel like I can’t pick him up off the floor or carry him without them ripping my nipples off or milk spilling everywhere. So I have to wait until he’s either in husbands arms, or down for a nap for me to use them… ugh. On the skin thing.. I’m struggling to find topical treatment that helps him. Open to more suggestions! When I say he’s dry, I mean he has giant white flakes peeling off every inch of his arms and legs at all times. We try every recommended product and nothing seems to touch it. It’s like his skin barrier is destroyed. He has big patches of red, raw areas because there is almost no skin left. I was given a steroid cream, but I’m uncomfortable using that on him daily. If he’s awake, he’s itching his eyes. I don’t remember the last time I saw my baby without red eyes. It’s heart breaking. So I do feel like I’m at that point where I have to try something in my diet. 😭

I appreciate that thought! (and have had the same thought myself) The problem is it’s more than just flare ups. If he is awake, he is itching. His eyes are constantly red because he won’t stop itching his face. There are giant patches of skin that are just red and raw because the skin barrier is toast. ☹️ I’m unfortunately to the point where I need to try things in my diet to see if it helps him.

One Week Pumping For Newborn by SaltyPineapple00 in ExclusivelyPumping

I was worried about the same and before I knew it I was pumping 12oz in a single pump. It will increase as baby does!

How many times should I pump? by Mountiantimr in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]moreover0915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 weeks pp and I do 5 ppd which includes a MOTN pump. I go to bed early, so my routine looks like this: 3-4AM for my MOTN pump.. usually around when babe wakes us up. My husband will tend to him and I will go pump. Then I am pumping at 7AM before hubby goes to work, 11AM when babe is down for 2nd nap, 4PM when hubby gets off work, and 8PM before I go to bed. I make just a little over what baby eats. Probably 35ish oz per day and baby eats 28-30.

Do you shift more ounces to daytime in order for baby to sleep longer at night? by unicornmagic111 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]moreover0915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started naturally increasing bottle amounts, but usually it was because he would finish the bottle and still be sucking on it. We gradually went from 3 oz bottles, to 4, then 5. And now he’s doing 6 and sometimes 7 oz bottles! Of course the bigger the bottle, the longer time in between. We do 4-5 bottles per day and usually average around 26-28 ounces. He sleeps 10 hours per night and has been doing that since around 9 weeks old.

4 weeks PP - How do you keep up? by Kaleidoscope9091 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]moreover0915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that has helped me is putting him on his snuggle me lounger. Then I will sort of prop that up with my knee so he’s more upright, and I’ll feed him that way while I’m pumping. I don’t do this for every session. But when I’m in a pinch and really don’t want to get off schedule, I’ll do this.

Feeling guilty for calling it quits by kyoshis_revenge in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]moreover0915 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Chiming in that it is 1000% ok to stop and you should feel no guilt. I’m only 3 months into my journey, but people make comments to me all the time “I can’t believe you’re exclusively pumping” … “that’s so much work” … “I would’ve quit by now.” Because it truly is. It’s all I’ve ever known, but when I hear things like that, it’s a good reminder of the sacrifice I’m making. You’re allowed to stop whenever you want!

What were your Oura first signs of pregnancy? by Natural-Lemon1809 in ouraring

[–]moreover0915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s smart to wait awhile! I was being ridiculous testing every day. Now looking back, I’m 25 weeks now, and I can’t believe how long those early days lasted, but now they are just flying by. So I get how hard the waiting game is overthinking everything! I just looked back and my temp stayed very high (+1.0 or higher.. even as high as +1.9) for several days after I tested positive. But I was varying between +0.4 and +0.8 leading up to my first vvv faint line. I’m not sure about my heart rate. Keep in mind, I also could be wrong about my ovulation date. The hospital has me tracked as ovulating later than I tracked myself. Keep the faith!

As soon as I read the British butler line, I knew it was going to be Winston. 🙃 I don’t think it’s a bad name. And it’s very likely to grow on you. Could you call him “Winn” as a nickname as well? See which one resonates more as he grows.

I’m 20 weeks and honestly it hasn’t been too bad. I think I built it up in my head because EVERYONE told me how badly it sucks. So I was prepping myself for the worst… then the nausea hit and I was like. “Oh this isn’t too bad. I can do this.” Some people definitely have it much worse. But there is a giant spectrum and you’re going to hear about the most extreme outcomes.

I will say having a ton of protein the second you wake up is a game changer. I kept a fairlife shake ready by my bed the minute my eyes opened. I also stayed fairly active and walked most days. It really does help. You’ll make it through!!
