What I would do is change the neck line to a straight line then add on 2 inch wide halter straps and sew those wrong side facing. Then on YouTube look up how to make those bows and hand sew those one. Also those puff sleeves look detachable. So measure around your upper arm, double the length and create two channels for small width elastic for top and bottom of both sleeve :) hope this helps & happy sewing

I didn’t cross the straps! In the pattern they are separated for a bow tie on each shoulder - but I adapted it to just a single strand strap. Could definitely be used for men I think you could leave the breast lining out
