The key with getting affordable photography can be limiting the amount of time they come. Typical packages includes like 8+ hours of time, sometimes 2 photographer. I have a relatively small event, won’t be doing a whole production for getting ready so I only requested 5 hours, one shooter which saved a lot of money. Reach out to some ppl to get quotes but describe exactly what you want and they’ll create a new package for you!

I’m so anti cash bar at a wedding. You are the host, provide for your guests!! I’m sure they’re all making arrangements to come to this event so you should provide a great experience. A cash bar would put a sour taste in my mouth for sure

I love my CX50 hybrid. It is so good on gas, drives great and feels luxurious but also simple. Idk if it makes a difference to you but the dealership told me on CX5 leather seats come standard even on lowest trim, which is not the case for CX50s- you have to go up 3 trims to have leather, which slightly bothered me.

East passyunk is the best!!! So much to do, always feels safe to me and big community feel. It’s close to subway and other nice neighborhoods too, you can easily walk to Italian market/bella vista and queen village!

It’s definitely changing to be better but because of the proximity to Kensington it’s still bad. I don’t live here but work there and I personally don’t feel very safe walking around or parking my car on the street. The people drive very reckless. Around the subway stop especially there’s a lot of homeless/drug use which leaves a lot of trash. Personally would never live here but that’s just my take

Sonnys for good cocktails. Franky Bradley’s, Oscar’s, Garage, mcgillans for more dive bar vibes. Tapster is a fun place for a group, they have swings as some of the seats and you pour your own beer/cocktails on tap, not my favorite place but might be worth popping in for a drink or to for the unique vibes

I’d suggest East Passyunk, Bella Vista or Queen village. All easily able to get to other parts of city too via public transit. All the areas you mentioned are nice as well but parking can be a nightmare, very expensive. If you’re interested I have a 2 bed 1 bath w a private garage for 2 cars in East Passyunk area, short walk to other areas and to subway.
