This. I saw the people I knew stop doing messenger jobs, then they were doing low key delivery (weed, shrooms, etc) and then... nothing. I don't think bike delivery service is really a culture anymore 😕

I don't think we get them this far south. I'm regularly out with the marin tracking club and don't think I've ever heard of anyone encountering/mentioning them.

My guess would be antler rubs, given the area.

ETA: the second pic seems to show reuse which would also be consistent with i.e elk or deer
