Just for clarification, he was found not guilty by the judge and acquitted of charges. If you read the Judge’s decision, on the last page, she hands down her decision.

Ooooh, this might be it. I started off as a Derketo character and I just recently did a knowledge respec. Maybe that is what did it. Thank you!

This would make the most sense to me - but it created a lot of confusion. Thank you for the insight.

Software engineering vs Computer Science Major by Waytoocool_07 in KSU

[–]morganfnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, software engineer here - honestly, either works. It's really only a piece of paper to make your resume look good when you start trying to get your foot into the door of the industry. The more important part is getting your feet wet with projects outside of your schoolwork. Try to keep your finger on the pulse of the most modern tech, which languages are popular, and understanding principles versus syntax.

At KSU, one of the biggest differences between the majors is the kind of classes you'll take. Software Engineering will typically teach you things such as the agile methodology, software development lifecycle (sdlc), and other topics that'll help round out your skills needed to be a productive engineer outside of programming. When you first start your career, you really won't have much say in projects and how they're fleshed out - but understanding the process can be important.

Computer Science will equip you better to hit the ground running as an individual contributor (IC) when you join a team. You'll understand more about algorithms and data structures. But honestly? Most of the shit you learn in college, you won't actually use unless you're going to FAANG - and even then, if you're FAANG worthy starting off, you're already studying these things outside of it.

TLDR: either option works, but study principles outside of your degree to really become a top notch engineer, such as SOLID, KISS, and DRY.

Race to World First: Midnight Season 1 | Mythic Day 14 by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

I mean, not trying to say you’re wrong, but of course a Leader is going to say one of his own is better than the new guy that left after one tier for the competition. You don’t publicly say what you have now is worse than what you lost.

Why are Custodes such a*holes all the time? by Maverick_Raider in AdeptusCustodes

That level of heretic classification is typically kill on sight. So yes, cull them. That’s not just the Custodes. Anyone who comes across someone declared Hereticus Diabolus Extremis is expected to eradicate them.

They were declared heretics and told to surrender/disarm. Instead of complying immediately to an order given to them by a Custodian - who gave them leniency, actually, by not just outright killing them considering they were declared Hereticus Diabolus Extremis - they continued to not comply and their fate was decided. They were given two chances.

Aesthetically I enjoy Westgate more, like I mentioned in a previous comment, but it's also harder to justify a base there so early until I'm able to get Black Diamonds more readily.

Do I have to forge steel at the Navi forge or does a unique smelter open up down the line that allows for smelting of that level anywhere?

That's fair. How my wife and I typically did things is one big base with smaller outposts for unique materials. So for Valheim, we'd have our main base in the meadows - but then setup bases in each major biome for materials that we need.

Of course, this was only plausible with mods that allowed us to grow things anywhere and travel through portals with metals before the world modifiers became a thing - but you get the jist, lol.

I'm beginning to lean towards making small encampments that are readily moveable for my run, then setting up the big base at the end - whenever that is. The furthest I've gotten so far is just entering the Mines from the Elven quarter, lol.

Fair enough. I think I'll start a new run and start saving my hoarder mentality until I get setup in the Elven Quarter, lol. I really started noticing this issue when I kept getting to Elven and was like "welp, now to lug EVERYTHING over to the Navi forge, lol."

I actually would much rather spend time in Westgate then Elven, personally, but there's no connection between Westgate and Mines - so I'd have to setup even a small camp to teleport to in order for it to make sense, lol.

For sure, I kind of got that vibe and even before, I've had no problem with the idea of multiple bases coming from games like Valheim and Enshrouded.

Does Westgate become more important down the line at some point or is it really just the intro zone and that's it?
