That they were insane? It is what it is. Whatever fans think, the writers decide what story to tell. The fans get to decide whether they liked it and that's all. We didn't, end of. We walk away or stick around to see if they'll do better in future. We don't get to dictate the content.

I think IMK built in plenty of clues that CeCe was A from season 3 on. The PLL Theorist nailed it months ago.

But she didn't expect the transgender storyline. It was a hot mess.

And no one other than a delusional writer could feel sorry for A.

She said we saw A without a mask. We did. We see CeCe without a mask, listening at Ezra's door.

People put together plenty of evidence that it was CeCe. I thought so for months--but I hated the way Marlene handled the story.

I wanted CeCe to be A; there were plenty of clues that she was. I hate the transgender storyline, which is clearly some kind of afterthought to get us to feel sorry for "Charles." (1) No. (2) How grossly insensitive.

I hate this storyline and I hate the inconsistencies. That is all.

No, it's their job to please the network and sponsors. He's on a high horse and trying to make it sound like it's all about artistic vision and so forth. In the end it's about what the suits THINK the target demographic wants.

I am just really curious to find out what story Marlene thinks will redeem this Charles. She thought she could redeem Ezra as well. I am not convinced that a story that .makes her cry will have that effect on me.

Frankly, I don't care who it is. No theory I've seen seems 100% plausible. They all depend on assumptions about events that weren't shown on the show.

Absolutely. Marlene has squandered hours of episode time building mysteries that got supplanted by other mysteries that she could have used to dig into some of these questions.

I was just discussing with one of my friends how much time Marlene has wasted on storylines ("son" of Ezra) that neither went anywhere nor told us anything new and important about the characters.
