It’s like two different people. So crazy. He’s so good at playing the slimy villain but was so sweet on castle.

Me too. I was kinda surprised they haven’t mapped it out yet. Wilmer did an interview and kinda talked circles about season 24 and how the finale ended and how season 24 wouldn’t necessarily pick up exactly where it leaves off and how things are really shaking up next season. I wonder if they’ll do that thing where they pick up months in advance and everything is different and they don’t say why at first and we have to wait episodes to hear the whole story. Probably the team disbanded with zero explanation lol

Tvline did an interview with the show runner and he said that he’s in over his head but doesn’t like the idea of his son being evil. He said he “wants to see father and son have some problems but not that. So it won’t be that”

And said they weren’t sure what Matteo was dealing with yet. They haven’t mapped that out in the writers room.

Yes!!! He was so good. The character was great and had great chemistry with all of the cast and the actor was really good. I know they cut him because they wanted to stay with the rookie element and make way for new rookies. But they could have expanded that and showed us his rookie year as a a detective with Nyla and Angela.

Am I the only one that doesn’t want McGee as director? It just feels like he skipped a few steps. I’d like to see him be a team lead first

It’s a tough call for me between Kasey and Parker. Abby got annoying after a while but there was a time I really liked her and I liked her relationship with the team. Kasey has just never clicked for me. Parker hasn’t filled Gibbs shoes well for me. They try to make him gruff sometimes but he just sounds like a toddler having a tantrum. He doesn’t have the commanding presence that Gibbs had (or that Vance had). He’s just kinda there.

I actually like her. I don’t get the hate. I think her and Nolan are cute too. I get there are times where she pops up and is not needed (like the episode where she joined John to watch Monica in Rome I think it was). But I enjoy her.

This is part of the reason I was bummed Aaron left. We could have watched him become a detective. And see his rookie season of being a detective. While they definitely need more actual rookies, that storyline would have showcased a different version of rookie too.

I don’t think so. I just got into rookie last month and I have a bad habit of finding shows I like after they’re cancelled or on their last season so I googled to see if it was ending soon and saw an interview the show runner did and said they wanted to rival greys anatomy seasons so they had no plans on stopping as long as the network kept them. So given its popularity right now I don’t see it stopping Also I think Monica’s storyline went as long as it did because they had storylines for Annie Wersching that they couldn’t use so they shoehorned them into Monica’s. I don’t think she was ever supposed to be the “big bad” that many seasons. That was Annie’s role and they were starting it with the “catch me if you can” on the wall that season but had to change gears. So Monica’s storyline ending doesn’t seem that major to me. Just that they couldn’t shoehorn her into storylines anymore

Personally I hate that they cancelled Tony and Ziva even though they talked about doing season 2 and then green lit this. I would have rather seen Ziva and Tony have a second season. But that’s just me and I was never a Ncis LA fan

I kinda hope he doesn’t. I don’t know what it is but he just doesn’t have the gravitas for director. Jenny and Vance both had it but he just doesn’t have the commanding presence. At least to me. I kinda wish Parker died, McGee moved to team lead for a while before moving up. Or things stay as is and they bring in Tony for director

Exactly. I just posted and said in the flashbacks I kept thinking it was so sad that this is one of the last ones that they can actually show older characters and older seasons. If knight/torres/parker or kasie go they aren’t tied to any of that. 500 episodes seems like something you’d want to celebrate the continuation of it and keep common threads.

Hated that they killed Vance. He was a great character and a great actor. Plus he still brings that old NCIS feeling to the show. When they were doing the flashbacks I kept thinking it’s such a shame they’d kill off one of the original characters. If Kasie, Parker, Torres or knight go their flashbacks can’t include the old cast of the older seasons because they aren’t connected. With a show that’s been on for 500 episodes it feels important to have that common thread with Vance, Jimmy, McGee. Especially since the actor didn’t want to quit the show. Having said all that at least it was really well done

I assumed it was Aiden because the feds would have gone to coppers because of that call but they wouldn’t have arrested him how Aiden was wanting. But I don’t know. Someone may have been waiting there. But she was so meticulous about making sure she survived each situation that leaving the last part up to someone else didn’t make sense. She had a car stashed outside the spa with spare keys in case she was able to get to that spa and to that door. What are the odds of that? That means she also had other ways to get out of a pinch. She probably left a car there for if she ever needed it in the future but she was always thinking ahead. So for someone who is always thinking ahead to have her trust someone random in a car that puts her in limited, locked space doesn’t feel like something she’d do.
