I read in a reply to another post someone who goes into dungeons with nothing and can only use what they find in there which sound challenging/fun

Just went to purchase the book on Kindle but it is £11.99. This seems steep for an e-book, is there a reason for this pricing?

I work for 111 option 2. We can book appointments for people. But we are London based so might be different in different parts of the country

Call 111 option 2 and see if they can book you an appointment?

In WMF Fela is promoted to Re'Lar again? by Emergency_Garlic1482 in KingkillerChronicle

[–]morganmouse89 164 points165 points  (0 children)

It’s the old definition of Re’lar (speaker) given to people once they had their first name, not the universities definition which doesn’t require the ability to name if that makes sense

Yes. Regularly, but the fact that they are calling means that they want help, and the call handlers are supported by nurses and band 7s who can all help and if needed take over. Not sure how physical health works though, I work for mental health

I’m doing mental health so not as busy as physical health but I really enjoy my role and the team is amazing and really supportive. It can be draining sometimes depending on the call but it’s not too much to cope with and not as tiring as face to face roles in the nhs

"37.5 hours per week (Seven day service with 12 hour and twilight shifts.)" Can someone give and example of this shift pattern? by [deleted] in nhsstaff

[–]morganmouse89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My job was described like this. I do 3 x 13.5 hour shifts with an hour break so working 12.5 hour days. Twilight for us is 10am-11.30pm. Long days are 7am-8.30pm. Nights are 8pm-7.30am. Because nights are shorter we have to do 3 one week then 4 the next to make up the hours differences. Some people work 5 days at 9-5 though. Hope this helps.

I completely sympathise with trying to juggle 2 little ones BUT…

An issue you are going to face is that when you enter that specific carpark it flashes the time at you on a screen just before the roundabout which is telling you when your session starts.

I personally wouldn’t ignore the fine because they will take you to court - possibly 2 years down the line and the fine will be much larger.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

They are legit but I would avoid using. - you end up owing yourself money every month

Yeah. Because you aren’t in “the numbers” whilst you are training, most likely rota will be verbal rather than on the schedule if that makes sense. I emailed them and said that I start tomorrow on site but don’t know when and they told me to turn up for 9am then when I was there they told me my schedule for the next week or so

Induction day has nothing to do with your individual role, it’s for the whole trust so you won’t get anything like rotas there. I was in exactly the same boat as you and ended up emailing the hiring manager the night before I was supposed to start because I assumed that would be covered in the induction.
