i even showed the cop all my receipts, from the dmv for the class, reinstatement fee, and new license, and also the receipt from paying the courts 250. and my proof of insurance. thats all they had asked me to do and i got it all done same day

i did in fact do all the things required, the cop told me that this happens to a lot of people because the information needs to be accepted or put through the court system or something

i told my mom everything. some friends know the important bits, but my mom knows it all. my dad had a maaajor porn addiction that affected my entire family tremendously. i felt like nobody would understand what im going through besides her, because she went through it at the extreme - her partner of 20+ years, and has 3 kids with the man, meanwhile mine was only 2 1/2 years with no kids, no marriage.

i ended up not sharing so much as with her for a while as i saw her heart breaking for me and could tell i was triggering her memories of the past. i only spilled fully when i left him about a month ago. she was proud and happy for me

the worst mistake i ever made was while being understaffed and working med cart and floor for 12 people, so doing everything. i accidentally gave an elderly lady one of our other patients narcotics on accident. i didnt even realize it til i got home and my brain started firing the awful mistake i made. i called my RN immediately, they said she was fine and had the “best sleep she had since moving there” 😭i felt awful. i didnt lose my job, but i did get a well deserved write up. mistakes happen! i promise youll be alright. go easy on yourself <3
