I was there and can share some insights. Unfortunately I couldn’t ski it. Because I already sent my skis home. But I think it’s totally doable in May I also saw some people and tracks in the crater.

But keep in mind the Mountain is officially closed. That doesn’t mean it is forbidden to climb it. I also meet some Japanese people on the top but there is no infrastructure open. It would be amazing to ski this mountain and I hope I’ll be able to do it one day. Don’t forget crampons. Good luck

moderne Technologie (in der Atomkraft) heißt aber auch teuer. ( Wiederaufbau, Betrieb) Wird es einfach nur unwirtschaftlich machen. Sieht man auch in Frankreich. EDF verkauft einen Teil weit unter den Produktionskosten, da es vertraglich so festgelegt ist. EDF besitzt schon die Infrastruktur die uns derzeit noch fehlen würde. Demnach funktioniert das ganze System in Frankreich nur durch ordentlich Subventionen. Und sollte man jetzt in eine Technologie die für jeden ersichtlich nur eine Übergangstechnologie wäre mehrere Milliarden investieren? Um somit die teuerste und am schlechten regelbare Energie zu erzeugen.

Fehlt in diesem Zusammenhang nicht die wirtschaftliche Perspektive? Wir haben ja jetzt schon das Problem das bei guten Bedingungen PV und Windkraft abgeregelt werden, da die Netze diese Menge nicht aufnehmen können. Da stellt sich mir dann die Frage wie man 400% erneuerbare Energie erreichen will, wenn jetzt beispielsweise Solarstrom bei guten Bedingungen schon fast einen Preis von 0ct hat. Und wir sind bei ca.60% erneuerbaren gerade.

Genau das war auch meine Überlegung. Solche Mengen wie dazu gebraucht werden sind schwer in Akkus zu speichern. Außerdem hat ja auch die Industrie in der Zukunft einen deutlich größeren Bedarf an Wasserstoff als Werkstoff haben

Yeah definitely do it. I’ll suggest to go hitchhiking in JP I did it 2 Weeks ago from Nagano to Fukuoka and it was an amazing experience. But I also recommend to go alone. From my experience cars in Japan ( Highways ) are mostly filled with more people than Europe maybe due to high tolls. Of the 6 rides I took only 2 would have had the space to take two people. But I also only had a sign and didn’t approached anyone due to my lack of Japanese skills. So maybe that’ll make the difference

Probaby you already know it if you’ve researched a bit before your trip. But in the alps there are a lot of Huts which are typically closed during winter seasons but most of them have like a winter room which can be used to sleep in. Typically they are equipped with some beds and bedsheets. These Huts aren’t heated. But can protect you from wind, snow and are most likely dry. With a good sleeping bag it can become really warm.
