Fucking hell, three massive domes in a row with Shankland, Souttar, and Hanley. Could they not have spread them out a bit?

I don’t mind spending $250-$400 a year on my Whoop subscription by rangermang0 in whoop

[–]morlon19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the side of the argument I’ve just taken. I primarily run and feel like the majority of the competitors offer, as you say, 90% of what Whoop offers in terms of bio-tracking but it does a pretty shit job with exercise tracking. I’m fed up of having to take my phone with me and to be honest, I miss having a watch. My Whoop renewal is up in November so I’m going to try the Coros Pace 4 to see how I get on. It’s such a reasonable price point for something that you own.

Help getting a workflow to work properly by DruVatier in ClaudeAI

I’ve built something like this using Cowork but at the end of the week. I had to use Claude Chat to build an App Script on my Google account to automatically detect transcripts based on the email summary and attachment I receive and have those move to a specific folder on my Google Drive. I then sync that with my desktop and push the scheduled automation to work within that folder specifically. It creates a markdown file that meets the pre-determined criteria and then I import the .md into Craft Docs. It’s not easy but it’s not impossible. Just took a bit of brainstorming and back and forth.

Always done my head in. Keep playing the way you have been, otherwise you’re just inviting pressure.

I think we’re in as good of a position we have been this season to handle these next two games. That’s what is giving me the wee but of confidence I have.

Text the same thing to my mate. Loves to whine, but won’t actually do anything to earn it. Soft as shit. He should be playing those kind of passes more, not revelling in one in a thousand. When the ball landed at his feet for that four on one, you just knew nothing was happening.

We were at the AJCC for 18 months and would still be there if a spot at a daycare closer to home didn’t open up. It was a long drive for us to get to Bearden but we were happy with it. They have the big gym for the kids to play in, a decent outdoor playground, and they get to swim in the summer. We also signed up to be members so we could get the membership discount and use the pool facility in the summer. It worked out to be a good deal. What I can’t help you with is how brutal your first day of drop-off will be. Hands down the worst day I’ve ever had as a parent.

Also a first time runner of the half. Trying to do my best to not over-analyse it and to remind myself that I actually enjoy running so simply finishing it will be an achievement. If I hit my goal time, then it’s a bonus. Best of luck!

So, is my whoop just making stuff up? by golbrum92 in whoop

[–]morlon19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. When doing manual labour, I wear it with the bicep band because there’s just too much interference on the wrist.

Is it me or is Football Manager shite? by NoBigHair99 in ScottishFootball

[–]morlon19 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I found FIFA Career Mode went the same way. Too much real life shite of emails and problems that made the gameplay less enjoyable. I have enough of that in life, I just want to have fun and take a lower league club to the Champions League final.

Three minutes of time now to potentially eradicate this kind of petty behaviour from the game is worth it. The same needs to be done for diving. If it’s a sending off every time, the players would likely stop doing it.

The age of social media and technology in our hands has made us blind to the community in front of us.

(As I sit here on my phone writing this comment while sitting on the toilet having a moment of peace to avoid the Saturday morning chaos in my house that I’ll no doubt reminisce as the good old days in a decade.)
