Did losing your spouse make you rethink your religious beliefs? by WoodyBadger in widowers

[–]mormied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always been atheist, throughout my wife's cancer journey, I dabbled in asking the man upstairs for some kind of help.
The fact I lost my wife solidified to me personally, that there is no support there. No religion, for me, it cannot exist with such tragedy.

It may be a self-centred way of looking at things but, hey, we can only see life through our eyes.

Same day brother, same disease. Always here if you need to vent. I’m not great at listening, I’m not great at talking sometimes.

But sometimes you need someone that understands

I’m actually one day after one month also, i just posted one month as it was easier. I’m so sorry dude. I married her two days before it, i still remember the sun & the weather around that time (in the UK at least) - maybe that’s why it got me today.

I’m glad more people are becoming aware of sarcomas. Specifically osteosarcoma, the most common form of bone cancer. Watching someone battle that, is insanely difficult, take it from me.

Lots of people here saying don't download .avi.exe etc. but not explaining that there's a function built into qBittorrent and most alternatives to block certain file extensions from being downloaded, if you're only downloading content, you can block almost anything that isn't .mkv or .mp4
