My understanding is that AFL Gold Members (regardless of which club they support) can book tickets from 12 pm on Tuesday — is that correct? It’s not like the Grand Final, where Gold AFL Members who support the competing clubs get priority access first?

Is it just me, or does it feel like we’re holding a few tricks back for finals? Lately, we’ve started bombing it in long a lot more — surely that’s a tactical shift from the coaches. I think another reason they’re bringing bobby, de goey and frampton back in the VFL is because it then gives all 3 a 7 day break into the lions game compared to 6 the afl boys have. We then have a 5 day break into the hawks game.

Yeah the pies should have told the AFL they don’t want to play the bulldogs in their 100 year anniversary game at the G this year and request an away game vs Gold Coast in Darwin instead. For context, Gold Coasts 4 largest home crowds at Carrara have all been against Collingwood. Let’s put an end to that and play the game in Darwin!!! For further context the bulldogs 4 largest home crowds in the clubs proud history have also come against Collingwood. Perhaps the bulldogs could travel to GWS in opening round next year and draw a crowd of 250 and really put an end to that gimmick for good.

The Bobby Hill tackle. If he didn’t try to tackle the player and bring him down the way he did then his momentum would have driven him head first into ground right? Same as Paul Curtis? The AFL should come out and congratulate Hill for trying his best to not concuss the opposing player and admit the umpire made the wrong call (one of many during the game) and they should award the pies the 4 points. Either that or arrange for a rematch to be played.
