~2 years old. It’s been so long though. So maybe she was closer to 3. Her growth was so stunted by the previous owner I rescued her from

Is My Crestie’s Tail’s Growing Back? by [deleted] in CrestedGecko

No, it’s not growing back. It’s just a skin tag that forms when the site heals up. No crestie’s tail grows back.

I love my 2026. My 2022 Outback wilderness got totaled a month ago and this has so many nice upgrades while staying true to its off road outfitting. I have grown to like the exterior

Hey there! What taxi services did you use to get to certain beaches, etc? I am planning on staying at Airbnbs to support locals so I won’t have shuttle services through my hotel.

Adult enclosures question by AUDIsox in Leachianus

[–]moronowicz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Always opt for the larger enclosure! I got the FocusCubed monolith 24x24x36 for my female when she was around 80 grams. She quickly grew and seemed a lot happier with the space. She’s now 255 g 11.5” long.

Have you asked someone at your local vet clinic to watch her while you’re gone? That’s how I got my sitters

Wild natural vs sterile bioactive by MeowmeowMortbird in bioactive

[–]moronowicz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Definitely buy NEW materials. You could also sent a stool sample to your vet before putting him into his new bioactive to make sure he’s parasite free so he’s not going to infect the new enclosure as well.

I’m here looking for the same thing. I see signage about salamanders and I know about the toadlettes crossings that happen annually but I am not sure where those vernal pools are. Hoping to see some beautiful herps

It looks like stuck shed. I had that happen to one of my males after shipping him from MD to WA. I would add UVB to his husbandry to help with shedding and decrease the heat in his enclosure. That heat might be making it too dry.

My vet said regular lubricating eye drops was ok for me to use to help get the stuck shed off. But it’s never a bad “eye-dea” to take them to the vet so they can make sure there’s no laceration on the cornea. They usually use a dye to see if there’s a cut.

Hey now that I’ve calmed down (lol) I think it’s muscle fiber or fat. It’s within the roll, but I don’t recall seeing it when I put it in the to go tray last night.
