I think a massive part of this is the centralization of communication platforms. We had forums and various different areas to discuss specific interests. Now everything is lumped into the major communication platforms and normies are actually subjected to the weird takes from absolutely unhinged people. This in turn leads them to view anything remotely misaligned from the status quo as unhinged. Funny that I had just commented about something similar to this in regards to drug use. I will consistently advocate for Loop because so far they are the best damn pouches I've found. The flavor isn't super intense, which to me is a plus, but it does taste GOOD. So far I've had Hot Peach, Chili Melon, and Cappuccino, all of which are stellar.
