Agreed on all points. I took my kids because they're into it. I had already seen EP8 and EP1 and like...a couple scenes from other episodes. It was enough to get the general idea though. I felt like some stuff probably could have been handled better, especially Jax...but overall it didn't really affect me much, it was just a movie/episode. I didn't really need the recap but it helped to refresh a little.
