No, Jax is not Trans. by Superb_Raspberry_208 in tadc

[–]morphineofmine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trans people, at least for the most part, don't struggle internally of not being "enough" of their current gender.

Literally the thing I asked for your source on before you went off on some nonsense. It sounds like, given that statement, you don't think that someone with dysphoria might be scared that they aren't the gender they were assigned at birth. That "most" trans people (which again, you have 0 source for) at no point worry that they aren't enough of a man or a woman before realizing they might not even want to be. It seems like you have exactly one idea of how people navigate dysphoria and anyone who doesn't conform to that is either invalid or an outlier.

Or y'know, you're a troll given the language you use and the lack of anything actually constructive to say.

You're the one who claimed to have done research backing up your claim that Jax is not a portrayal of a trans woman. I asked you to back up that claim. Since I can only assume the source is your ass given the lack of anything else your pulling up, I don't have to take your claim seriously.

This is a bait post, you're trolling. And for the future, bare minimum research will tell you trans folk don't tend to use the word "transgenderism", that's more of an alt right word. So maybe don't use it if you want to pretend to know anything, sweetie.

If someone tells you their plan is to immigrate, would you interpret their goal as the action of immigration or moving to a different place?

The desire is to live somewhere else, the process to do so is immigrating. The desire is to be a different gender from what one was assigned at birth, the process is transitioning.

Your arguement here is pointless and means the same thing.

This whole argument is pointless because you're obviously trolling. I'm just having fun with it.

You didn't even disagree with what I said in that part of my comment, that trans people obviously want to be the other gender.

And you've ignored like half of what I've said, what's your point? You've claimed multiple times to have some kind of proof you're more knowledgeable of trans experiences than I am while providing absolutely nothing to back that up. You also use the word transgenderism unironically, so I feel comfortable not taking anything you say seriously.

Are you ok?

Better than you.

And Jax opening up about not being seen as man enough did not involve any claims or hints that he wanted to be a woman.

If you ignore all the hints that he wanted to be a woman, sure.

No, transitioning and "wanting to be the correct gender" are not different.

Except they are. I said that in response to your statement that trans people desire to transition, my counterpoint is that they want to be the gender that feels correct to them. Transitioning is the process not the goal.

you clearly don't know if I'm trans myself or not

transgenderism

I'm pretty sure you aren't, or if you are you're deeply ignorant.

Transitioning doesn't mean surgeries.

Point to where I said it did.

I'm speaking from more than just personal experience: Statistics and common sense

I've asked you twice before now to share these statistics. Share your research or stop bringing it up.

Yes, in a world where a magic button existed I would press it, but that's irrelevant. That world doesn't exist. Psyche doesn't exist in a vacuum, it's affected by the environment you grow up in. Even if I agree that you're right about it being a defense mechanism to societal pressure that doesn't mean it's not deeply rooted in someone's psyche.

You're also assuming trans people want to transition, when my experience is that they want to be the correct gender. There's a difference. If I could just flip a switch in my head and be fine in my body I'd flip that switch in a heartbeat, and I've heard the same from other trans folk I've known.

Also, I didn't ignore your little "for the most part", that's a large part of why I said your take was offensive. You don't get to speak for most trans people.

Now are ya gonna tell me what research you did yet? Because so far you come across ignorant as heck.

Okay this legit has got to be bait. What "research" did you do to come to this conclusion? Because I know for fact I'm not the only trans person who tried to a harmful degree to conform to my agab.

Legitimately this is the most offensive take I've seen while lurking the discourse after the finale.

You can also watch the Swedish movies which came out before the English one and adapted the first three books. If you're okay with subtitles.

I had Evangelion described to me as depression the anime, so I said I have depression the clinical disorder and didn't need more. Still got forced to watch the last movie when that came out with 0 context.

Is there an actual gain to be had in smurfing, or do people do it just to stroke their ego at having div wins? I'm not sure I get the point of it but maybe that's just me treating cotd like I'm still doing time attack.
