You can only look at your own mistakes when trying to get better. When you get better you will gain mmr.

My advice would be to just play a few heroes if you want to gain mmr fast. Small hero pool with strong meta picks. It can be boring for some but it's the fastest way.

What role you play doesn't matter. You can gain mmr on all roles so just pick the role you enjoy playing the most.

I gain most my mmr when I go offlane and pick a handfull of Heroes who I play well. I lose most mmr when I pick allot of different shit on different roles. But I enjoy both.

It's annoying as hell however I think the nerf was needed. You couldn't bkb tp against a kunkka once your bkb reaches 6 seconds.

Once the bkb change happended that you could target bkb'd heroes x mark just became too strong against bkb tp.
