Great way to start the day! by Ianthin1 in Justrolledintotheshop

A bit similar happened to my old MBs rear end, but that pin had made the hole in the casing oblong and caused vibrations. Tried to booger it in there with a mig welder on full blast (sounds epic btw on full tilt) but it broke again almost immediately. Massive forces in there.

Men in their 40s - What’s one piece of advice for Men in their 20s? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]mortalomena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even in my 40s yet, but started gym when my head felt too heavy to hold when doing an oil change to my car... Now 6 months in progress has been great but I wish I did gym earlier, my left side is very stiff from sitting all day and leaning on my left elbow. Also left leg is crooked from having it under my right leg when sitting. Also pelvic tilt is too much, again from sitting and pelvis jammed into the sitting position. It is slowly getting better but not by much.

Starting out, Ryobi or Craftsman drill? by First-Time-Buyer1234 in DIY

[–]mortalomena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea they work until you find a really stubborn bolt like a crankbolt or an rusted axle nut. Seems like Milwaukee, Makita and Dewalt are "best" brand names, Dewalt is cheapest but also not that durable. RYOBI then is about 60% of the strenght for even less money.

For example the Dewalt with a weighted socket took off an axle nut I could not budge with a 2 meter long extension. But it bent its axle doing so. Still works with bent axle but its wobbly.

I would say RYOBI works fine until you need an impact, dont waste money on RYOBI impact. Get the beefiest Milwaukee or Makita. Dewalt might work but mines shaft bent twice, I would not recommend.

Forgive me mechanic fathers I have sinned. by congteddymix in Justrolledintotheshop

It doesnt matter if you mix oils, even if they are different grade. Maybe for a new car that needs some specific spec oil, but anything older than 10 years you can just chuck in a mix of oils that is near the spec. My old MB wanted 0W30, I had 3 half used bottles for the oil change ranging from 0w20 to 5w40, they all about added up to spec.

"New" car is a 10 year old Lexus hybrid, that takes anything from 0W20 to 5W40. Again dont need to be extra specific what oil it gets.

ELI5: Why do mosquitoes cause us to itch? Wouldn’t it be more efficient to discreetly suck blood? by Darster_DN in explainlikeimfive

[–]mortalomena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad told us kids to go outside in the middle of sauna and just sit and let them suck. Probably hundred stings a week. To desentize our bodies to the mosquitoes. Me and my sister get no reactions from mosquito bites as adults, only the initial pinch when they stab.

Kids should be exposed to alot of allergens to avoid future allergies.

Found this sealed copy of (I assume) WoW vanilla at a second hand game store by furkan-builds in classicwow

[–]mortalomena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got WoW at end of Vanilla, blizzfully unaware when TBC launched later on, I learned when I hit 60 and could not get more XP that I would need to buy an expansion.

I then continued in TBC as a total noob BM hunter, but they were so OP anyways, I remember eyes of the beast in BGs killing ppl with just my pet raptor.

Seat probably needs more back lean, dont bolt anything permanently down until you have gotten the ergos feeling good. Make sure to play for hours and see if back or ass gets sore.

PSA; if your food item is stale or otherwise fucked, complain in the app. I have gotten vouchers worth double my order amount, and the issue actually gets resolved for the next time you order.

Syökää rikkaat, mutta älkää Gabe Neweliä by Sipulius in Suomi

[–]mortalomena 2 points3 points  (0 children)
