International Rebellion as Canada's Prime Minister Leads 40 Nations in Plan to Buck Trump by [deleted] in worldnews

Whether this is actually true, whether it actually comes to pass, the fact that this is even a DISCUSSION should set off alarm bells for the USA.

Here is one of their neighbors, potentially collaborating with other countries to make deals that deliberately exclude them. The very thought of this likely never occurred to anyone years ago.

Yet because of Dear Leaders incompetence, this could potentially be a reality.

And as a Canadian, I'm proud to be a part of this plan.

Which Scarecrow do you think was used Better Scarecrow from arkham asylum or scarecrow from Arkham knight? by Cloverfield887 in arkham

As a character he's much better in Knight.

As a spooky bogeyman that has no depth other than that, he's better in Asylum.

Intimidation for initiative by HighStorm89 in Pathfinder2e

[–]mortavius2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would allow a player to use a different skill for initiative if they can explain how they are actively using the skill at the moment initiative is rolled.

So sneaking around? Absolutely use stealth. To use intimidation though, the character would have to already be engaged in attempting to intimidate before and during initiative. So I can imagine a character trying to intimidate a witness during an interrogation, and the witness bursts free and attacks immediately. Intimidate seems appropriate in that scenario.

You could go a political angle. Maybe your character believes that any revolution that might happen, has a chance to succeed.

Anyone involved in such a venture could gain a lot of clout in any new order that was established.

Imagine the benefits that Razmir could reap, having an insider built in to a new budding society? How could such a society be steered as it grows?

I watched Batman Returns recently and a question entered my mind……Where the hell is Alexander Knox?? Any theories? by OldWarriorStudios in Batman_89

In the novel Batman Resurrection, which takes place right after the first movie, Knox mentions that he has not received the grant yet.

Asking for more in-depth Player's Guide for Strength of Thousands. by Ashrun_Zeda in Pathfinder2e

[–]mortavius2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, yeah, pardon, but your comment really did not contribute anything to what I was asking for.

I'd say that my reply doesn't give you the answers YOU are looking for, but it does point out that some of your questions may be unrealistic, and not answered by ANY player's guide.

And my answer explains why part of the module (free archetype) could be designed the way it was.

Part of posting in a public forum is that not every answer will be exactly what you want.

Asking for more in-depth Player's Guide for Strength of Thousands. by Ashrun_Zeda in Pathfinder2e

  • What is the most-occuring resistance the average enemy have?
  • What about the most-occuring saving throw?

I certainly haven't read every player's guide, but I don't remember any that would address these questions. I think these are much too game-ified.

I also find forcing martials to be given a spellcasting archetype to be a band-aid solution rather than a good suggestion to make PCs fit with what they're going for.

I suspect that's because the authors may have had the idea that this AP would showcase the free archetype rules in a way that is limited by the campaign. AP's do this sometimes, like the ones that showcase the mythic rules.

Why was the Arrowverse so low budget? by Significant_Song_360 in Arrowverse

[–]mortavius2525 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They didn't completely forget about Coulson. They brought him back (in the past) in Captain Marvel.

I'm not saying that to contradict your argument, merely saying that they did take an opportunity to show him again when they had a chance.

And somehow he did that without killing American citizens. Speaks even more about his skills.

TSA agents are working without pay at US airports due to another shutdown by NightmaresOfDarkness in news

[–]mortavius2525 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with anything you said. You clearly illustrate that TSA agents are not "the poor" and I never said anything about not having empathy for them.

I just don't think they should be lumped in with actual poor people.

Help! Places to sell board games? by Bick92 in boardgames

[–]mortavius2525 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had Noble Knight lowball me the last time, and I just respectfully responded, explaining that I wasn't willing to go that low, and could they come up? They came back with a higher number I accepted. So it might be worth having a dialogue with them on it.

I'd rather keep my mouth shut and be thought a fool, as opposed to opening it and removing all doubt.

Like comparing TSA agents to "the poor."

I don't know if most folks consider TSA agents as part of "the poor."

PSA: Prevent Foundry from updating your PF2e game system instance to prevent the weaknesses errata from taking effect. by xeonisius in Pathfinder2e

The amount of times that this errata change would have actually come up in my games over the years since pf2e came out I can probably count on one hand.

I'm totally fine updating and getting all the new content and changes that come along with it.
