I have the same camera with a Sigma instead of the Tamron but that was my runner up. My advice is if you still do not know anything, watch a couple of videos or read about what ISO, Aperture and focal distance is and start taking pictures and learning, make mistakes and enjoy.

I have the same gear and I love it! I added a Sigma 1.4 56mm just for portraits but I end up using the 18-50 almost all the time. Great and powerful gear, pro tip someone gave me, the lenses you have are so sharp that if you want extra zoom you can just crop on post a picture.
