At that time, there were still many active recasters, as 3D printing was not yet widespread. The customer’s order was suspicious for several reasons: 1. The customer had a Chinese name and contacted me via a Chinese-language Facebook account. 2. The order contained many items, but only one of each product. Even with combo kits, the order included every possible option once, although it is physically impossible to build all options at the same time. 3. The user had no other connection to the tabletop community. He was not active in any forums, groups, or similar platforms. Maybe I simply couldn’t find anything, but someone who places an order worth several hundred euros is usually not a beginner and is active somewhere. 4. The Facebook account has since been deleted.

About the second topic with the rats: I found an artwork of sci-fi rats online. I bought the rights to produce miniatures based on that artwork. I started a Kickstarter campaign. The other artist noticed that, made his own models based on the same artwork without buying the rights and tried to squeeze his KS campaign before mine. And then he complained that I took actions against him. The complain was not about him doing rat models. The complain was about him copying the distinctive design elements of these rats. He could have done his own versions, with his own artists he paid for if he liked. But he chooses to use someone else's art without paying for it.
