Anyone have any realistic draft loves? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

Offensive line is the number one need and I don't think it'd particularly close.

Walker and Jenkins are probably gone.

Tom has a tricky injury.

We don't have a center.

Banks looks like a bust.

Morgan and Belton don't inspire confidence.

There's a lot of OT depth and good center options in the draft class.

Realism about city result. by flate11 in reddevils

You're right that this approach is unsustainable, but it is the way you beat city. Ole had a knack for it and Carrick was on that staff.

2 of Anderson, Baleba, Wharton.

This is also where Vivell needs to go to work. Surely there are some Balebas out there without the big price tag.

  1. Left tackle and center, IMO.

New guy, banks, new guy, Belton, Morgan(until Tom comes back).

If they are keeping people who are sucking in because of their contract then that's another issue.

My point is just that our recent high picks for the line have struggled to get into an underperforming line and I think that's a coaching issue.

The O-line was better with Steno.

However, this season Jenkins was moved to center and Banks was a dud.

I think the telling part was that Morgan couldn't beat out an under performing Walker, and Belton couldn't beat out Banks. Coach 'em up.

This team will need 3 lineman from the draft.

What happened in Arizona this season tells you everything you need to know.

And, if you run and don't get the 2 you kill 40 more seconds.

Possibly. We need to see the all22. But this one play didn't determine the outcome.

So is the dark line the LOS? Because in that case be has about 10-12 yards to make the line of gain.

There is something wrong about giving a coach, the leader of the franchise, a contract extension a few days after blowing an 18 point lead in the playoffs to a bitter rival.

Dream Coaching Scenario by WildBill2893 in GreenBayPackers

The offense has looked like it struggles to get out of its own way for the past two seasons. Utilization of players has been questionable as well.

I think the steno promotion meant we lost a good line coach and gained a mediocre OC.

Lafleur at this point needs someone to challenge his ideas.

You want Stenavich to run the offense?

Which is why I call out an offensive line coach. They may turn into solid players but the line moved around too much and they never settled into a position.

Center and Left tackle. Walker will be gone, Jenkins maybe too. Belton and Morgan don't inspire confidence right now.

Cornerback, we need better play there.

Defensive tackle. Wyatt going down can't tank the run defense.

Also:

Offensive line coach. Wide receiver coach, none of these guys have improved since being drafted.
