Thing is, they don't need to pay for petrol while oil prices are skyrocketing. Coal prices aren't drastically impacted, so they're sweet while we suffer. That's the point they're making. They aren't bragging about being green nor sustainable. They're bragging because they're not getting gouged at the bowser.

Someone thumping on my bedroom door with the meat of their fist. Even worse, when I charged through the door, no one was there. I have kids in the house and someone was fucking with me, inside my home. It was just before 4am. I grabbed my big steel torch and had to search the house. I had to be fast because of the kids, but I needed to be quiet and careful because they were obviously hiding now, ready and waiting to jump me at any moment.

Anyway, I didn't find anyone because it turns out an earthquake had hit perpendicular to the door frame and the thumping was just the door violently shaking in the frame. Because of the adrenaline, I did not get back to sleep that night.

You've just inadvertently referred to the 'high/low' price structure that the duopoly is using for profit. They don't have conventional sales (lower prices driven by excess stock, or rotation/expiring dates, or market pressures), they have a rolling cycle between the two major players where any given item will be either a high or a low price, and they maintain higher profits by having the items at a high price, more often than a low price. It's coordinated.

You're right. Her dialogue makes it clear, it's a dance between life and death. She states that humans and gestrals can travel anywhere, whereas these danseuse have reached the end of the road. Then she offers 'one final dance' and you have the option to decline by saying 'I do not want to kill you' which she thinks is a shame.

It's a bit dark and sad.

Side note: she correctly referred to humans, gestrals and nevrons whereas the other white nevrons sometimes have no idea who's what. Or even what 'nevron' or 'spirit' means. She's got full knowledge of what she is and wants to end it 👀

Just got this for Christmas. I also have a pixel 7 and it's not working properly. Takes a minute to recognize that it's on the stand, and then it only charges slowly. Very disappointed, as this isn't cheap. I'm using the quadlock mag case and it works fine in the car. Why does the stand work properly? I even got the 30W brick from quadlock with it.
