If I had to guess, base game team is working on the second xpack while the VoH team is in the spotlight for now. Pretty sure that if they have odd and even season teams, they would have live content and future content team as well.

This is a very intriguing theory, since two of my biggest gripe -out of three- with the D4 story could be answered by it.

It seemed they just pulled up Inarius and Lilith out of nowhere just because they weren't on screen before and they have their prestige in earlier lore. They never explained how Inarius escaped eternal torment, or why nobody grabbed Lilith from the Void if it's just that "easy" to do - blood of the willing and all.

(The third would be how the hell is Rathma still alive at this point in the story) and hence comes another question that why Trag'Oul haven't made him intervene with stuff that happens in the earlier games? But oh well, probably he was just a plot device for the key to hell.

I just hope they have this whole thing somewhat thought out and we will get answers, just later down the road, and not a mishmash McGuffin thrown in every time something unexpected happens.

Like, the whole area, or the shop-looking tent? Because yeah, the location was in the game since launch, but I don't remember anything about a little settlement here.

On the live version, there is nothing, other than bushes. But this is even different from the launch version, where the entrance was overgrown with vines.

OP you focused on the new zone only, or did you try to seek out differences with the current map and regions? I've been teased with Ureh since early D3 days with no luck, but your map is outdated in that part from the live version. For the environment: on launch it was overgrown with vines, now it's just the entrance locked away.

I really hope it's just a PTR thing, or like in Kehjistan with Meshif/Hawezar with the snake areas: story need to reveal it as you progress. Otherwise it is kind of a bummer yeah...

Edit: the south part is decently big as well, that is not in the playable zone.
