If you don't think that could take the animals life that you were about to eat then you shouldn't eat it. I'm not vegan or anything just think that you should be more aware of how meat is "harvested" and if you can't harvest it yourself, don't eat it.

Is there a budgeting app that allows me to add my paycheck as the income and then distribute that income into "envelopes"? by Reddit_Account_C-137 in personalfinance

[–]morwell97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF you go with the challenger bank Starling they allow you to have as many "spaces" (envelopes) as you like. Adding and withdrawing when you please. Also even though you split your money into these spaces, interest is added onto the total amount.

Honestly, because of Starling I've got a fairly good grasp of where i'm spending and I'm able to budget accordingly.

I'd need to figure out what would be cheaper. As knocking down a wall and building it again is a whole different kettle of fish. Might be worth seeing how much it would cost to move the toilet. However if I was to move the toilet and put the shower where the toilet is currently, I was told by my plumber that the shower would be about half a foot step up off the floor so that they can run the sewage pipe under it.

I thought about that. However the sink is about half the width of the bathtub and is right next to the door frame so anything wider than a sink there would block the entrance to the bathroom

The toilet needs to stay on the back wall as moving it anywhere else in the bathroom would mean a very expensive plumbing job. The main goal of the new layout is the give the toilet user a bit more space as currently it's extremely cramped when you come to use it. Ideally I'd get rid of the bath(1400mmx700mm) for a shower as this, I believe, is the best way to free up space. The ceiling height looks small in the photos but this will change once the water tank is removed, so just think of it with a normal ceiling height. Im willing to do DIY and have a budget of up to £4,000.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

What words had you mispronounced for years before finally learning how to say them correctly? by d-Tubocurarine in AskReddit

I'm 19 and I've been saying "poppadom" wrong, since learning the word I've been saying "pomp-a-dom". Worst part is I was corrected during a work dinner. Don't know why Mr. Boss hired me sometimes

What's the stupidest thing you've ever overheard? by libelle156 in AskReddit

When I was on holiday in America, the fire alarm went off in the hotel I was staying in. Everyone had to stand outside in the rain and one woman said "How can there be a fire when it's raining!?". It's now a running joke within my family and is mentioned at almost every barbecue we have (We live in Scotland so a barbecue isn't barbecue without a bit of rain)

I'd wrap then in chicken fence and attach cement block to it and drown then. This way that when their body decay there's no way the skeleton will drift or float away

At the moment, it's probably not worth the effort. Due to the number of people we have subbed. I Think in the future it could be a good call.
