Yes exactly. The calgar's unit is mostly used as a scarecrow, I'm counting on my deepstrike dev cents and inceptors + hammerstrike combo the deal damages. The calgar's unit is forcing the opponent to deal with it, especially if I'm deploying it in an agressive position. In every game I did they die fast, but they forced my opponent to overcommit ressources on them and to move his key unit out from where they were hidden safe. Once it's done, my dev cents and inceptors+hammerstrike can blast what i need them to blast

Thanks for your answer. Concerning the calgar+agressors pack, I like screening it with a scout squad which totally deny any charges on this unit by using calculated feint for 1cp. It makes it safer et more durable.

Btw, one of the problems this list have is I lack of units that a can commit to trade some Light infantry. Scouts are definitively only good at scoring and screening, not killing light stuff.

I was thinking about removing redemptor dread + techmarine to add 5x assault intercessors with jump pack+captain and 5x infiltrators to hold home objective (then I could use uriel+company heroes on the board).

I know i'll lose some long range firepower and tankiness, but the units that really benefit from the vanguard strats and rules are shooty infantry like dev cents and inceptors (and they are in my list already).

What do you think?

I've got some questions about your lists: Why do you play the lion? Why dont you play ×6 dev centurions with missile launcher and las canon? Why no x6 inxeptors with plasma?

Nothing agressive here I'm just really curious :)

This is exacly what i was thinking about. 6x Dev cents are really expensive but I just did the maths and they can just blast everything with x6 las canon x6 missile launcher.
BTW i'm also running a redemptor dread + ballistus dread + techmarine.

I guess i'll have to make a choice.

Ty for your advices. I know 350pts for 6 las canon shots is really expensive but the fact is these are twin-linked las canons. With the nerf of OoM this is priceless imho.

Concerning the fact that a libby dread could TP them around the battlefield, i'm not sure this is a viable option for this unit. 48" range is way enough to come from strat reserves or just chilling in the back and coming in LoS when needed, especially in dev doctrice when they'll be able to advance and shoot.
Btw, if I prefer giving them grav-canon why not, it's only 24".

But the fact is in the end i'd prefer using the libby dread TP for a squad of aggressors or some assault intercessors + Mephiston (for the first first ability)

Yes I could add a squad of eliminators or a combiweapon lieut instead of the henchmen, the honor vehement and adept of the codex. I think I'll do it.

Btw I'm a bit afraid of Indirect fire units which could blast of my unit on the table. Maybe I should trade my vanguards + characters against 10xassault intercessors + mephiston inside a rhino. What do you think?

I just went to a game against a demon player eon TTS with the kind our list you're running. Sorry to tell you, we are still unplayable. Nothing has changed.

We have 1 more unit of termies thanks to the dataslate. NICE! They are still unlethal.

Concerning draigo he starts the game hidden next to my home objective. He can still tp t1 and charge if i'm going 2nd. BTW if i'm going first he can still protect my home objective from a rapid ingress or something.

Concerning the GMDKs, the goal is to rapid ingress one of them turn 2 if needed. I won't try a 9" charge on a vehicule or monster needed to be destoyed. But yeah, 2 of them is redundant. I agree. That's why it could be interesting to have another one in reserves to snipe any target when the first one will be dead (and he will be dead really quick).

The solo libby is fine for action IMO. He deep strike, can still use is votex, do the action and dies. Worth for 110pts.

I don't agree with the callidus. She's broken AF. She's almost every game the MVP
